First, the router is unstable.
The quality of some wireless routers and optical cats (broadband cats) is relatively poor, and a series of problems such as crashes will occur in long-term operation.
Solution: Turn off the wireless router and optical cat (broadband cat) at home, wait for a few minutes, then turn on the power and start the device. After normal startup, can I connect to wifi to test whether it can be used normally?
Second, broadband failure.
If your family's wifi is connected before, you can still access the Internet, and suddenly there is a problem that you can't access the Internet. And the router and the cat have been powered off and restarted, but they still can't be used after connecting wifi.
This situation is likely to be a problem with broadband lines, or broadband arrears.
Solution: 1 First of all, call broadband customer service to find out whether your broadband is in arrears. If it is arrears, you can pay. 2. If there is no arrears, you can transfer to manual customer service, make a fault declaration, and ask the operator to arrange the staff to come to the door for service. At this point, if the computer can access the Internet, it means that the broadband line is normal and there is no problem. On the other hand, without a router and the computer directly connected to the cat, the computer can't access the Internet. It is likely that there is something wrong with the broadband line.
Third, the router is not connected to the internet.
If there is nothing wrong with your broadband line, your broadband is not in arrears, and your broadband operator is not responsible for debugging your router. Then, please follow the steps below to check the relevant configuration in your router.
You can log in to the router's settings page with your computer or mobile phone, find and open the options of Internet access settings or WAN port settings, and you can see the router's networking status information.
If the router fails to network at this time, please read the following chapters carefully. If the networking is successful, please ignore this section and read the following directly.
1, check the line connection.
An ordinary cable router has 1 WAN interfaces and 4 LAN interfaces (some routers only have 2 or 3 LAN interfaces). Please connect the lines correctly according to the following methods.
(1), the WAN interface on the router needs a network cable to connect to the cat's network port. If you don't need a cat for broadband, you need to plug the broadband network cable into the WAN interface of the router.
(2) If you have a computer at home, you need to connect the LAN interface with a network cable, and any LAN interface will do.
Important note:
(1). At present, some routers have the function of adaptive WAN/LAN ports. When connecting, this type of router can be connected at will, without worrying about the wrong connection of the network cable.
(2) After the router makes the correct line connection, the computer cannot connect to the Internet at this time; But please don't worry, it's normal. Because when you set up a router with a computer, you don't need a computer to surf the Internet.
2. Check Internet access.
If the internet access mode in the router (some routers are called: networking mode, connection type, WAN port connection type, etc. ) is set incorrectly, which will cause the router to be unable to connect to the Internet, that is, it cannot be used normally after connecting wifi.
3. Operator restrictions
Will broadband operators in some areas bind users' computers? MAC address, which restricts users from using the router to surf the Internet. In this case, after the router is set up normally, it will not be able to connect to the network.
Fourth, restrict networking.
Almost all network cable routers have some functions that can be used to restrict mobile phones and computers from connecting to wifi. If your mobile phone and laptop are restricted, it will be unusable after connecting to wifi.
