The ranking order of Nie surname in Jingshan Chengguan is "good-natured, win honor for our country, loyalty is the guide, prosperity is harmony", and Nie Gannu is the word "country", formerly known as Nie Guobang.
According to legend, Nie Gannu's ancestral home should be Taojiawan, Guanyinyan, 20 miles from Jingshan Chengguan, Hubei. His great-great grandfather worked as a waiter in Jinchun Pawnshop at the west gate of Jingshan Chengguan, then took charge, and opened a pawnshop in his later years. When I arrived at Kannu's great-grandfather's house, the pawnshop business was booming. I bought land in my hometown Guanyinyan and rebuilt my house, which was a prosperous scene. Grandfathers can read and write.
Yan Nu's grandfather Nie Dalai was very smart since he was a child and read many classics. During the Xianfeng period, he paid tribute and married the daughter of Zeng Xiande. Zeng Xiande, whose real name is Jun Xuan, lives in the south gate of Jingshan Chengguan. In the second year of Tongzhi (A.D. 1863), Ren Xingquan was appointed as Yongbing North Road Station (the area under his jurisdiction is now the provincial capital of Taiwan Province Province and the coastal area of Fujian Province), and was awarded the title of provincial judge and Hualing.
Zeng Xiande was praised by Taiwan Province residents as "a good platform for educating Su Min" because of his remarkable achievements in governing Taiwan (see the article "A good platform for educating Su Min" in the third series of Jingshan literature and history materials for details).
After resigning from his post and returning to his hometown, Zeng Xiande did a lot of good for Sang Zi, running "Yixue", building "Yicang" and repairing "Confucian Temple". He proposed to build Wenbi Peak, the historic site in Chengguan today. The word "Ascending the Mountain" on the tower door was inscribed by Zeng Qinglan, the elder brother of grandma Ji Nuu, the second son.
After Yan crossbow's great-grandfather died, the brothers separated and the financial resources were scattered, and the Nie family began to decline. Nie Dalai got a three-or four-lattice gray tile house (later built several houses) and some houses and land in Guanyinyan village on the cross street of Jingshan Chengguan.
Nie Dalai was unable to enter the official career or do business all his life. In his later years, influenced by external conditions such as the "Gengzi Rebellion" and the "Xin Chou Treaty" when Eight-Nation Alliance invaded China, his family's economic situation was greatly worse than before, but he gave birth to four men (the eldest son Zhou Ping, the second son Zhou Xing, the third son Han Zhou and the fourth son Yu Zhou) and two women.
After the death of Nie Dalai and his wife, the burden of life suddenly fell on the eldest son Nie Pingzhou (the father of Yan Nuu), but he was unable to carry this burden and had to sell land constantly. Soon, the brothers separated, except for the land, Pingzhou and Hangzhou got the house on the street, and Hanzhou and Yuzhou got the house of Guanyinyan.
After the separation, the old three and the old four lived in the countryside, and their wealth declined rapidly. Later, Zhou Han became a chef, Yu Zhou became an honest farmer, and his biological father was penniless. Only the second son, Zhou Xing (Yan Nuu's adoptive father), had a good family and could afford to hire his mother and maid until his death.
Yan crossbow's parents and brothers, a family of four, only gave birth to a boy and became the only child of Nie's family. Nie Gannu's biological father Nie Pingzhou was born in the 12th year of Tongzhi (A.D. 1873). He is the son of Nie's parents and is called "Daxianggong". He spent his youth in a carefree environment, studied in a private school for several years, and also painted ink paintings. He married Zhang around 1890.
Zhang (187 1 ~ 1905), the daughter of a scholarly family in Jingshan. Her father is a teacher in a private school. After Zhang and Nie got married, they gave birth to several children, but none of them were raised. On the 30th of the twelfth lunar month, 1903, Ji crossbow was born, which brought joy to Nie's family. However, Zhang suffered from "floor redness" during childbirth, that is, postpartum hemorrhage and long-term illness in bed. He died on 1905 at the age of 34. Before she died, she couldn't help worrying about the crossbow and her eyes didn't turn sour.
After Yan Nuu's biological mother died, the family situation became more and more difficult. Nie Pingzhou has neither capital nor the ability to make a living. In addition, he was addicted to opium and could not continue to marry, so he adopted his second brother Nie Xingzhou as his son.
Nie did not engage in a fixed occupation all his life. Because he has a good voice and likes singing opera, his main job in life is "amateur" singing opera, that is, "playing drums everywhere" This was not a professional job in Jingshan City Management at that time. At first, only a few people who could sing a few plays and play gongs and drums formed an amateur team to entertain their neighbors on holidays. Later, if there is a wedding or funeral, this kind of activity can be long or short, the teams will assemble with each other, and the people who participate in "beating gongs and drums" are not for profit.
Nie Ping had a rough life. When he was young, he sold opium, but he lost a lot of money and made money. In his later years, he opened a small cigarette shop in his four bungalows facing the street, earning only enough money for himself to smoke.
1 965438+In late October of 2004/kloc-0 (that is, in late twelfth lunar month), Nie Pingzhou died of tuberculosis at the age of 4 1 year.
Because Nie Pingzhou is an honest and frank person, he often helps others and feels loved by his neighbors. So his funeral was very lively. Relatives, neighbors and many friends from the drum team came to bid farewell, just as good as the rich. Nie Gannu's adoptive father Zang (scientific name Nie Xingzhou) was born in Guangxu five years (AD 1879). He was extremely clever since he was a child, and he was a scholar. In the end, he failed to be admitted to the scholar and regretted it all his life.
In the mid-1990s, she was Shen's wife Zangnie. Shen has been childless. 1905, the husband and wife adopted Nie Gannu, the son of their eldest brother.
When Nie Weizang was young, he was once the director of the Institute of County Autonomy in the late Qing Dynasty with the prestige of his ancestors and his own knowledge. Later, he was condemned for taking opium frequently.
His mind is relatively open. During the Revolution of 1911, his uncle Shen (a student studying abroad and one of the earliest members of Jingshan League) and friends encouraged him to support Sun Yat-sen's revolution, join the League and engage in revolutionary propaganda work. He failed once and was almost killed by the Qing government.
Later, he worked as a court secretary in Yunmeng County, and was dismissed for smoking opium.
In his later years, Nie Weizang never did any work again, and his life depended on "running a tax contracting team". People who buy land there have to take the contract to the yamen to pay taxes. The yamen returns a printed official deed stamped with the county seal to the owner together with the original deed, which is called "tax deed". Rural people are far from the city, and they are not in a hurry to pay taxes in the city when they buy real estate, or they don't want to pay at all. The yamen specially sent people to collect them, and divided each place into "groups" according to administrative regions. Anyone who engages in tax collection is called a "tax evasion group". This profession is fixed and hereditary in the county official's son, and can also be bought and sold in the future. Nie's family is ancestors.
19 19 Nie Weicang died of tuberculosis at the age of 40. Nie Gannu's adoptive mother (that is, aunt) was born in Shen, 188 1, and was the daughter of a large family in Jingshan Chengguan. His father, Shen, was a tribute student after eight years of Guangxu, and his family style was very strict. Shen is the third child of the Shen family. Since childhood, she has been pestering her little feet and has a pair of "Little Golden Lotus" praised by people at that time. Because his father is a scholar and rich, Shen also studies. When Nie Shen's grandfather Yan Nu was alive, his family relationship was similar, so Shen married Zang.
After marriage, Shen was eager to have children and carry on the family line for Nie, but he never got it. After the death of Hou Ji's biological mother, Shen took the two-year-old Hou Ji crossbow as his own and raised it as his own son.
Shen works neatly, lives a simple life, is enthusiastic about people and likes to be lively. She is very good at embroidery. Besides sewing and reading leisure books, she usually plays cards. After the death of her husband, the family's living standard plummeted, so they resigned from their mother and maid, leaving only Shen Shi and Yan crossbow in the huge house. Shen received feudal education since childhood, paid attention to ethics in everything, and was very strict with crossbows. I just grew up, and I repeatedly asked to go outside and explore the world. In this regard, Shen's heart is very annoyed. 1920, 17-year-old Yan crossbow went to the countryside to raise money privately and prepared to go out alone, but failed. In order to tie up his son, Shen took away Shen Xiaogu, the daughter of an uncle Shen Xingshu, and forced him to become a relative. However, marriage cannot keep the crossbow. Soon, Sun Tieren, Jinu's first teacher, wrote to invite him out, and his relatives and friends were willing to donate money for his trip. Shen's uncle also tried to persuade Shen, and finally Shen agreed to let his son run away from home. In this way, Kancrossbow finally left the small town by the Qinshui River, broke free from the poor and backward life that followed many generations, and bravely and persistently went outside.
1936 65438+On February 25th, Yan Nu's daughter Haiyan was born in Shanghai. 1937 after the July 7th incident, Ji crossbow sent his wife and daughter back to their hometown in Jingshan in August of that year, which brought joy to the old lady in her later years. At the end of the year, Mrs. Shen held a lively "Catch the Week" ceremony for her granddaughter. Xiaohaiyan resolutely grabbed a pen among many food, toys, Four Treasures of the Study and other sundries, and the old lady was overjoyed.
During this period, Mrs. Ying Zhou and Mrs. Keanu taught in Jingshan National Center Primary School and became an influential figure in her hometown. 1On August 29th, 938, Japanese aggressor planes bombed Jingshan County for 57 sorties, three times, and the people in Chengguan suffered unprecedented disasters. /kloc-more than 0/000 houses were destroyed, 6,000 people were killed or injured, and more than 90 families were destroyed. Yan crossbow's home was also bombed, and his mother, wife and daughter survived. Later, Mrs. Shen and her mother and daughter fled to the north of Jingshan with the staff of Chengguan School. In the second half of the following year, accompanied by Sun Xishu, a family friend, the mother and daughter went to Chongqing to find a crossbow, but Lao Shen could not go with them.
Mrs. Shen, who was nearly sixty years old, was unable to live alone because of the disorder of life caused by the war, so she took Shen Xufu as her companion. 194 1 March, 60-year-old Mrs. Shen died suddenly, and the funeral was arranged by relatives and friends.
