Basic situation of Fushan village

Zhangban Town has a long history. Archaeological findings show that more than 3000 years ago, there was a primitive tribe living and reproducing on the land of Hui 'an. In the second year of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (686), Huang Shougong, the second son of quanzhou county, was located in Huangtian, nearly 0.5 km in front of Houcun Village in Zhangban Town, and became the ancestral home of Hui 'an Huang. Qing Hongkun's "A New Examination of Otter Creek" once recorded Otter Cave Island (also known as Fushan): "In the Tang, Song and Yuan Dynasties, the population was dense and everyone was involved in the ocean, so the golden head was a boat and a car, which was called rich." In the middle and late Tang Dynasty, Zhangban area has become one of the areas with relatively early development time, large population and developed economy and culture in southern Fujian. Village genealogy records show that most villages in Zhangban Town were built in the Song and Yuan Dynasties, while villages and temples in Houbian and Fushan were built in the middle of Tang Dynasty.

The meaning of place names There are three explanations for the origin of the place names of Fushan (Fushan, Otter Cave and Otter River).

1. Fushan: It is said that in the third year of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (AD 887), Hui Yuan, a Zen master of Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, crossed the sea to build a temple at the southern foot of Dongshan Island. It is difficult to decide the name of the temple after it is completed. However, the island is surrounded by rough waves and seems to float in the sea, so it is called "Fushan Temple", hence the name Fushan.

Second, the otter cave: According to legend, there are two kinds of sayings: ① The turtle family is named after the terrain like the otter cave. (2) During the Song and Yuan Dynasties, the fishery in this area was developed, the maritime traffic was developed and there were many ships. Otters often appear in holes between rocks. This place, also known as the otter cave, has spread all over the world since then.

Third, Otter River: Hong Kun, the author of "The New Fangs of Otter River" in the Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty, has a story: In 2000, he invited friends to visit his hometown, hoping that the terrain of Otter Cave was not like Otter, which was difficult to decide for a while, and he thought that his ancestor Hong Zhong was famous for his moral literature, so he was called Mr. Otter River, so he renamed Otter Cave "Otter River". (During the reign of Hongwu, Ming Jiang was ordered by Anxi).

The name Aote River has continued to this day, and primary schools, middle schools and senior citizens' associations are all named after Aote River.

Historical humanities

Hong Kun, the author of A New Examination of Aote River, Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty (1708), wrote: "In the first year of Tang and Song Dynasties, the population was dense, and all of them crossed the ocean to transport Tianjin by boat and car, which was called rich ...".

He also said that "in the Ming Dynasty, the people benefited many families, with a registered population of tens of thousands, and there was no poverty or pan. Each scholar's family has set up a huge ship to catch the river, and Chen Gai has a thousand gaps. "

According to legend:

In the Ming Dynasty, the passage to Nanyang was particularly prosperous, and in the Qing Dynasty, the passage to Taiwan Province Province was even more prosperous. In the seventh year of Guangxu (188 1), the customs inspection station was named Otter Cave Branch of Quanzhou Municipal Bureau of Regular Taxation.

In the ninth year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1883), more than 80 pairs of fishing boats were towed (160), and more than 50 merchant ships were towed. There were "ten thousand people in the otter cave in Chongwu, the sun and the sea were full of sails, and the island was lit at night" or the cloud "a thousand flags at sunrise, lights at night". The whole otter hole is full of fishing boats. (it means to get rich from the base) indicates the prosperous period at that time.

1945 After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War in August, Taiwan recovered and prospered again. At that time, more than 50 surviving fishing boats and merchant ships turned to Taiwan Province Province to transport goods from morning till night, which was extremely prosperous. It is said that there is a small Taiwan Province province in the otter cave.
