Detailed introduction to the scenic spots of Slender West Lake

Yangzhou Slender West Lake Scenic Spot, a national key scenic spot and a demonstration site of national civilized scenic spots, is located in the northern suburb of Yangzhou and is called "Slender West Lake" because of its slender lake surface. Slender West Lake, with a sightseeing area of 2.5 square kilometers, is a group of lake gardens formed in Kanggan period of Qing Dynasty, which integrates the beauty of the south and the glory of the north. The winding lakes with clear water are famous for their unique charm, such as Xu Yuan, Xiaojinshan, Wu Ting Bridge, Baita, No.24 Bridge, Wanhuayuan and Shuangfeng Zhan Yun.

Slender West Lake, formerly known as Baoan Lake, is located in the northwest suburb of Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, with a total area of 2,000 mu, a water area of 700 mu and a tourist area of 100 hectare.

Slender West Lake has formed a basic pattern in Kanggan period of Qing Dynasty, and it has the reputation of "the crown in the garden". Slender West Lake is mainly divided into 14 scenic spots, including Wu Ting Bridge, No.24 Bridge, Lotus Pond and Diaoyutai.

1988 Slender West Lake is listed as "an important national historical and cultural heritage and a key scenic spot with Yangzhou garden characteristics" by the State Council. 20 10 was awarded the national AAAAA tourist attraction. 20 14 is listed in the world cultural heritage list.
