Automobile serial number
Every car has a unique serial number, most of which will be engraved on the machine, and will also appear on the dashboard corner in the windshield, or beside the door, hood or trunk. If you find that the serial number of a part of a used car is different from other parts, then the car must have had an accident, or it has been modified or assembled.
Safety airbag
Some high-end used cars with airbags can be reimbursed in the event of an accident. If you reinstall one (especially the original one), the price is very high, which costs thousands of dollars. Therefore, many used car dealers don't install them at all when they sell their cars, which means that this important life-saving configuration will be scrapped. Ordinary people don't know until the whole device is dismantled, so it is best to find a professional to check it for you.
Also note the following points:
A. pay attention to the water mark. Imagine if a car is immersed in water for a long time, where should its water level be? In the water tank position? In the middle of the machine? On the seat? Of course, second-hand car dealers will try their best to erase this trace, so it is best to lift the car and look under it.
B. Pay attention to the new carpet and seat leather cover. No one will change carpets and seat covers for no reason. Try to turn the corner of the carpet up to see the old traces below and smell it carefully to see if it smells moldy.
C. pay attention to the traces of rust. Check the hinge part of the door, the steel part under the carpet, and the lock of the seat and spare tire for signs of rust.
D. pay attention to the air filter of the car. Because it can be saved, some used car dealers may not even change the air filter, so you can see if there are aquatic plants, twigs and small pieces of paper on the air filter.
