Pudanjing Expressway —— Brief Introduction
Pujiang starts from Jianyang, Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Ring Road, passes through Pujiang to Dujiangyan, passes through Dan Ling, Qingshen and Tong Jia in Leshan Central District, and ends at Jingyan, connecting with Renmu Expressway, with a total length of 89.23 kilometers, of which Leshan section is about 25 kilometers.
The construction of Pudan Expressway will effectively connect six expressways in Chengdu Economic Zone, including Ring Expressway, Chengya Expressway, Suizimei Expressway, Le Cheng Expressway, Renmu Expressway and Leshan Ring Expressway, and will form a convenient expressway in the south of Chengdu Economic Zone.
Pudanjing Expressway-Construction Progress
The review meeting of the feasibility report of Pudong-Monocrystal Expressway project has been held, the feasibility report of the project is being revised, and the preliminary design has been basically completed. For the planned Leshan branch line of the project, the Municipal Communications Commission has reported to our bureau the "Request for Instructions on Incorporating the Public Section of Meishan Zhongyansi-Leshan Ring Expressway into Pudong Expressway Branch Line and Building at the same time", which is waiting for approval.
Pudanjing Expressway-Construction Significance
The construction of Pudanjing Expressway will connect several cities in the southern part of Chengdu Economic Zone, connecting six expressways along the route, forming a new channel from northwest Sichuan to south Sichuan, encrypting the expressway network in Sichuan and driving the economic development along the route.
