Tianbao Group was founded in 1980s, 1985 10. Zhou Tianbao and his wife Wu Liping set up Anhui Industry and Trade Company in Bengbu, Anhui. This is a typical family business, mainly engaged in the manufacture and trade of hardware hinges, but at first it was not engaged in the manufacture and sales of auto parts and building hardware. After 25 years of development and Zhou Tianbao's own complex equity design, Tianbao Group's business covers the whole automobile industry chain from parts and complete vehicles to terminal sales, and has built an "automobile kingdom" across the mainland and Hong Kong capital markets. There is a description on the website of Tianbao Group that automobiles and parts are the two pillar industries of the company, and an all-round automobile industry chain has been formed from automobile basic parts, parts, system assembly to complete vehicles. Subsequently, Zhou Tianbao registered dozens of companies, using a series of names such as Zhongshun, Tianbao, Dongpu, Hengli and Ye Wei Heavy Industry, and started the first round of cooperation with local governments through these companies. On June 5438- 10, 2003, Beitai Venture was listed on the main board of Hong Kong Stock Exchange. According to its prospectus, the funds raised after listing are mainly used to expand the production base in Anhui and to purchase land in Beijing to establish a research and development center. In the future, Anhui base will focus on auto parts, and Beijing Beitai will set up 5-8 production lines, with assembly as its main business.
However, until now, the Beitai production base in Beijing has not achieved the original goal of 5-8 production lines focusing on assembly.
In addition, in 2003, Shenyang Zhongshun, a subsidiary of Tianbao Group, announced that Zhongshun Automobile Industrial Park officially started construction in Shenyang. According to the data, the first phase of the automobile industrial park covers an area of 1 10 square meters, with a construction area of 300,000 square meters and a total construction investment of 2.5 billion yuan. It is planned to build a passenger car factory with an annual output of/kloc-0.5 million off-road vehicles and commercial vehicles and a commercial vehicle factory with an annual output of/kloc-0.0 million.
As the only platform for Tianbao to produce complete vehicles, Zhongshun's monthly sales in 2008 reached about 700 vehicles, while the monthly sales in 2009 was only about 300 vehicles, which was far from the original goal.
Take Bengbu, Anhui Province as an example. There are more than a dozen enterprises in the local Beitai Auto Parts Industrial Park, and none of these enterprises appear in the annual reports of listed companies in Hong Kong. However, the biggest profit source of Beitai Venture-chassis business comes from Beitai Automobile Chassis System (Anhui) Co., Ltd.
