Introduction:
Leifeng Pagoda, also known as "Huangfei Pagoda", is located on Leifeng of Zhaoqian Mountain on the south bank of West Lake. Many people's "Leifeng Tower Complex" originated from the legend of the White Snake. Although the old tower fell down at 1924, now this one is newly built on the basis of the original tower, which has an elevator and air conditioning, but it does not prevent you from visiting White Snake here.
The Leifeng Pagoda itself is the biggest attraction of the whole scenic spot. The newly-built Leifeng Pagoda is more like a museum, with five floors from the base. After check-in, take the elevator (of course, you can climb the next stairs) to the Taki ruins. Here you can see the broken foundation of the old tower surrounded by glass, full of changes, which is also a scene of Leifeng Tower. There are also some unearthed cultural relics exhibitions in the underground palace on this floor, the most exquisite of which is an Asoka Tower.
Further up, I came to the bottom of the tower. A large-scale Dongyang woodcarving mural "Legend of the White Snake" was exhibited on this floor, which was very detailed. From here, you can officially climb the tower. There are stairs and elevators, and most of the time you need to queue up.
Every floor of the tower shows some poems and murals, but most people climb the tower to see the scenery. The scenery is very good from the height of Leifeng Tower. You can not only see the panoramic view of the West Lake, but also overlook the panoramic view of Jingci Temple. Especially at night, the lights by the West Lake outline the whole West Lake, and the scenery is intoxicating.
In addition to Leifeng Pagoda, there are also small scenic spots such as Zhao Xi Pavilion, Miaoyin Station and Release Pool. Among them, there is a huge rockery in the release pond in front of the tower, which is full of released dried turtles; You can see the relics in the relics museum.
