The major of environmental design is a design science, which belongs to art. The major of environmental design is developed on the basis of the original major of art design (junior college). 200 1 is a junior college and was approved as an undergraduate by the Ministry of Education in 2004. In 2005, the first major in art design was enrolled, and in 20 12, the first major in environmental design was enrolled.

Teaching around rural revitalization, highlighting the characteristics and advantages of regional, contemporary, practical, innovative and applied comprehensive professional reform, and cultivating students to become compound applied talents urgently needed by society.
Training objectives
This major mainly cultivates national first-class talents who meet the needs of current economic and social development, are based in Guangxi Beibu Gulf and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, face the whole country, have a strong sense of responsibility, scientific and rational spirit, leading aesthetic judgment and systematic professional knowledge, and master the corresponding design thinking, expression, communication and management skills of environmental design specialty.
