What does the vocational examination mean?

Higher vocational college entrance examination is a national college entrance examination specially designed for secondary school students, also known as "3+ certificate examination". In fact, the "3" in the higher vocational college entrance examination means that the cultural courses you want to take are Chinese, mathematics and English, and then this certificate means that you must have a vocational skill certificate. The combination of these three subjects and the certificates you must have is the so-called higher vocational college entrance examination.

High school analysis:

China's high school education includes: ordinary senior middle schools, ordinary secondary specialized schools, adult high schools, vocational high schools, intermediate technical schools, vocational secondary specialized schools and secondary normal schools.

Senior high school education in China is non-compulsory, and students must pay necessary tuition and other fees. Since 2009, the state has implemented the tuition-free policy for senior high schools in some poor areas.

High school graduates can take the national unified examination for enrollment in ordinary colleges and universities. By May 30th, 20 16, there were 2,879 institutions of higher learning in China, including 2,595 ordinary institutions of higher learning (including 266 independent colleges). Students can choose their own schools according to their examination results.
