I was born in a poor city. There is neither the prosperity of Beijing nor the flowers of Shanghai. It is not as glamorous as Shenzhen, but it attracts me with its unique charm and guides me forward. I feel beautiful here every day.
My hometown is Shanxi, and anyone who knows Shanxi will know that it is a sea of coal. There is a coal factory near my home. There are coal trucks running around here all day. Every day I stand on the windowsill and look at the speeding car, I will have a sense of pride, proud that I am from Shanxi. Perhaps in everyone's eyes, Shanxi is a backward city with a bad environment and low per capita GDP, but Shanxi is changing with its hard work and wisdom.
Great changes have indeed taken place in Shanxi in the past five years, which is obvious to all. The successful renovation of Fenhe Reservoir has made Shanxi more beautiful. I remember many years ago, Fenhe River was still a black and smelly river, always emitting an unpleasant smell, which made people fidget. But now it has become a beautiful scenery in Taiyuan. As night falls, thousands of lights and Fenhe River light up at this time, illuminating the whole of Shanxi and making people feel beautiful.
People living in the noisy city accepted the reality of being wrapped in reinforced concrete buildings and had to open up a beautiful and unique place. In the bustling streets and lanes, in the squeeze of rows of tall buildings, it is very pleasant to walk in the fairyland-like park, so Yingze Park has become the best place to go.
Great changes have taken place in Yingze Park during several years of renovation. In the park, green trees are swaying, clear water is rippling, pavilions, people are coming and going, flowing water is gurgling, pavilions and antique buildings are melting into the modern atmosphere. In front of us is an ancient cornice pavilion with carved beams and painted buildings, which is magnificent. I was surprised for a moment. Look carefully, it is an antique Buddhist building, and the three characters of Buddhist building leap under the eaves.
Ancient buildings store too much information, and they have become places of interest for people to visit and worship. For tourists who are keen on traveling and visiting historical sites, they will linger in the face of historical sites, so they will wander back and forth and lose the true meaning of leisure and entertainment in the park.
Shanxi is a vibrant city, and every grass and tree in Shanxi is so charming.
