According to the information released by Jinan Traffic Safety Administration, as of April 27, 2023, Jinan has implemented the policy of restricting foreign cars from 7: 00 am to 9: 00 am and 5: 00 pm to 7: 00 pm every Monday to Friday. In March 2023, Jinan restricted the number of foreign vehicles from 7 am to 8 pm from Monday to Friday. Foreign vehicles with mantissas of 1 and 6 are not allowed to pass on Saturdays and Sundays.
During peak hours, light and mini trucks and motor vehicles with foreign license plates are prohibited from entering the urban expressway, Jingshi Road (Xingcun Interchange to Jinan West Interchange) and Tourist Road (Gangxi Road to Shungeng Road).
Restricted road section
Most of them are urban expressways, generally referring to Beiyuan Elevated Road, Industrial North Elevated Road, Second Ring East Elevated Road (including Laohushan Tunnel), Second Ring South Elevated Road (including Shifangyu Tunnel, Laohushan Tunnel, Jiangshuiquan Tunnel, Ding Long Tunnel and Ganggou Tunnel), Second Ring West Elevated Road, Shunhe Elevated Road and South Extension Project (including Hanyu Road Tunnel and Wang Yue Road).
Motor vehicles with new energy licenses, light multi-purpose trucks (pickup trucks) and police cars, fire engines, ambulances, engineering rescue vehicles and emergency rescue vehicles performing tasks are not subject to the above measures. The foreign number plate refers to the motor vehicle number plate that is not "Lu A, Lu S".
