Brief introduction of maize movement
The Corn Movement was initiated by Khrushchev, the former Soviet Prime Minister. It is said that Khrushchev wants to learn from the United States and grow corn on a large scale. Khrushchev decided to plant corn all over the Soviet Union regardless of the geographical and climatic factors of the Soviet Union. However, due to the poor geographical conditions (mainly light) in the Soviet Union, corn hardly produced "sticks", coupled with the corruption of state organs and the purchase of big "sticks" from abroad to fool the Prime Minister, the corn movement eventually failed.
