3. Introduction of Enterprise Technology Center
The Enterprise Technology Center of Zhengzhou Cable Co., Ltd. was established in 1997, and won the national enterprise technology center in 2000. It is one of the only three national enterprise technology centers in the industry. The Technology Center currently employs 158 people, including 5 doctoral students, 8 master students, 4 senior engineers1person and 55 engineers. The Technology Center consists of eight offices: Science and Technology Planning Department, Market and Technology Information Department, Major Technology Research Department, Cable Products Research Office, Cable Materials Research Office, Cable Accessories Research Office, Electrical Equipment Research Office and Central Laboratory. The central laboratory consists of seven sub-laboratories: chemical analysis laboratory, rubber and plastic materials laboratory, combustion laboratory, metal laboratory, insulation and coating laboratory, communication laboratory and high-voltage laboratory.
The Technology Center has an office building with a building area of 2,500 square meters, a 300㎡ combustion laboratory and a 500㎡ high-pressure laboratory. Among them, the combustion laboratory has the most advanced combustion test equipment in China, such as imported toxicity index tester, material smoke density tester and oxygen index tester, which can carry out full-performance combustion test on materials and finished products; The high-voltage laboratory has advanced domestic high-voltage test equipment such as high-voltage partial discharge test device and impact testing machine imported from Sweden, which can carry out various high-voltage tests of cable products and accessories with voltage levels of 220kV and below. This used to be the most advanced high-pressure laboratory in China.
The technical center has more than 500 sets of advanced testing instruments at home and abroad, such as imported rheometer, Mooney viscosity tester and high-voltage partial discharge test device. It creates good experimental conditions for the development and testing of materials and products.
Zhengzhou Cable Co., Ltd. pays attention to the construction of independent innovation ability, and scientific and technological achievements are constantly emerging.
