On the morning of July 3, 2022, the opening ceremony of Zhangbei County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province to expressway, shangyi county (referred to as Zhang Shang Expressway) was held in Shangyidong Interchange. Expressway, Zhang Shang is a key transportation infrastructure construction project in Hebei Province and an important transportation hub connecting Bashang area of Zhangjiakou City with Inner Mongolia. The project starts from the west side of Zhangbei County, ends at the border of Hebei and Mongolia in shangyi county, and connects with Zhunxing expressway in Inner Mongolia, with a total length of 72.262 kilometers.
It is worth noting that with the opening of expressway in Zhang Shang, the prototype of Jingshang (Beijing-Shangyi) expressway, a new channel connecting Beijing, Hebei and Mongolia, has been formed. The Hebei section of Jingshang expressway consists of Yanchong expressway, Chongli to Zhangbei expressway and Zhang Shang expressway.
Road condition
It is understood that the Zhangbei section of expressway, Zhang Shang passes through Zhangbei Town, Shantou Township, Hailiutu Township and Single Crystal River Township. Shangyi section is 43.802km long and passes through Man Jing Town, Badaogou Town, Qijia Town and Nanhaoqian Town. The project is a two-way four-lane project with a design speed of100km and a subgrade width of 26m.
Expressway, Zhang Shang is one of the highest expressway in Hebei Province, with short construction period and great difficulty. In view of many construction problems, the construction unit has formulated a number of management formulation and management measures according to the industry technical standards and combined with the engineering practice, and always put the quality and safety of the project in the first place, laying a solid foundation for the early completion and opening to traffic of Zhang Shang expressway.
