Ladybug is a beneficial insect.

Coccinella septempunctata adults can prey on wheat aphids, cotton aphids, locust aphids, peach aphids, scale insects, ticks and other pests, which can greatly reduce the harm of pests to trees, fruits and various crops. Known as "live pesticide", it is widely distributed in China, commonly known as "floret" and "Scarab".

Coccinella septempunctata is distributed in northeast, north, central, northwest, east and southwest China. Beijing, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Hebei, Shandong, Shanxi, Henan, Shaanxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangdong, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Qinghai, Xinjiang, Tibet and Inner Mongolia are common in farmland, forests, gardens and orchards. Mongolia, Korea, Japan, Russia, India and Europe are also recorded.
