If you don't finish the self-taught examination, the self-taught examination office won't give you a diploma. The application for self-taught undergraduate graduation must have a junior college diploma (you can also ask the school to issue a certificate and go through the graduation formalities at the self-taught examination office), so it is impossible to get an undergraduate diploma before you graduate from college.
