Citizens of China who live in People's Republic of China (PRC) 16 years of age or older and have not yet obtained their resident identity cards or their original identity cards have been lost or damaged and have not been reissued, can apply for temporary id card as needed. Required materials
1, original household registration book;
2. Fill in the temporary id card application registration form;
3. Two recent standard photos of the resident ID card.
Treatment process
1. Apply to the local police station where the permanent residence is located, and submit the household registration book and my recent one-inch bareheaded black-and-white photo (the photo size standard is the same as the resident ID card). For citizens below 16, the guardian shall apply on their behalf.
2. The police station will submit the citizen's personal information to the county (city) public security bureau or the public security bureau with districts for examination and issuance, and be responsible for the certificate.
3. The public security organ shall issue a certificate to the applicant within 3 days after receiving the application.
4. Citizens who have received temporary resident identity cards shall return the temporary resident identity cards when receiving them.
Processing time: The public security organ shall issue a certificate to the applicant within three days after receiving the application.
Location: the police station where the permanent residence is located.
Handling fee: temporary id card certificate fee 10 yuan.
Validity: It will be issued to temporary id card who has not yet received the ID card or whose certificate is lost or damaged, and the validity period is 3 months.
