Any starting mode must have a release mechanism, so that the starting mechanism can be released from the rotating gear of the engine after the engine works. After release, it leaves the engine transmission system. If it is started, it needs a period of idling before it can be connected.
The electric start is released by overrunning the clutch, that is, it will be released when the engine speed is higher than the starting mechanism speed. Foot starting is mostly realized by walking gear, that is, the gear moves axially and meshes with the engine transmission gear when starting, and the starting gear will be pushed out and released after the engine works.
The first half of the pedal is the process of axial displacement of the starting gear. Only when you are in gear can you make a force. If the force is exerted in the first half, the starting gear may suddenly pass through, sometimes just enter the tooth, and sometimes the tooth tips will abut against each other, then bite and slide down into the second tooth, so that the tooth tips may be damaged after several strokes.
