I am a non-landscape major, and I want to switch to landscape design. Is it feasible? Is it realistic? Where should I start?

I have been walking in the landscape for 89 years. I studied indoor in college, but I changed a little. Now I am a creative designer.

Let me share my experience with you.

I want to say that your idea is possible, but you are wrong.

First, as mentioned earlier, many people have succeeded in changing careers (a driver in my previous company switched to be a project manager and finally went it alone), provided that they have patience, perseverance and perseverance, which can be said to cost a lot.

Second, do you know the work intensity of this business? This is very important. The master works as much as 1W to 2 3W a month, but works overtime to 10 every Saturday and Sunday. Sometimes they work all night, and the rest of the year depends on the company's project arrangement. Do you have this preparation?

Third, the certificate is second. After all, this business is short and not so formal. How much you can get depends mainly on the design level and project experience. The more education and certificates, the better, but not necessary.

Fourth, the key is how to learn. First find a hand-painted training course for landscape training, and the tuition fee is two or three thousand yuan (in fact, you can learn nothing, but I can tell you what this business needs. You can ask teachers and classmates more, be a caring person, exercise your art foundation and ability, buy some basic reference books (landscape textbooks and basic art textbooks in universities), and you don't have to buy hardcover landscape books (buy waste products). In this way, you will basically know what this line is for, and then you will have to learn some basic software (CAD PS SU). After all these are laid, you are qualified to be an assistant no matter what your level is. The rest is to find a job in the company (let the company's projects train you). You can figure out how much time and energy you need. The salary of an assistant is about 5,000 yuan (Shanghai). If you don't have the ability, maybe more.

Fifth, if you have laid all the foundations, at least, you should imagine your career path. What you originally thought is basically unreasonable, and floral design can't turn to landscape. You can say courtyard design (landscape design). A foundation like yours may have lower requirements for the ability threshold. At the same time, once you enter the business, don't change careers easily (as you said, change careers again)

Finally, if you want to enter the design industry, you must have love and persistence. You have to pay a lot of things, your family doesn't understand and can't be recognized. You must be prepared, and don't give up easily when you enter.

I wish you success ~ ~ ~
