Liu Family in Ningguo, Anhui Province

My ancestor, Liu Yufa, moved to Ningguo in southern Anhui in the second year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1863), and has been in Liu Yufa for seven generations.

My ancestor Liu Yufa, whose handwriting was corrected. In other words, the ancestors of Tongcheng Liu who moved to Ningguo belonged to Tongcheng Liu for several generations.

I'm the Juezi Sect myself. After moving to Ning, it belongs to the fifth generation.

According to my ancestors, my ancestor Liu Yufa was poor and a little long when he was a child. He used to help grandma herd cattle in his hometown of Tongcheng. Taiping Army went to Tongcheng to fight, and he was captured by Taiping Army as a soldier. Because of his achievements in the army, he was promoted to 100 years old. After the Taiping Army lost the battle in Ningguo, the local plague was prevalent and the population dropped sharply, so Liu Yufa stayed here (Shangyuan Village, Qinglong Township, Ningguo County), which was the second year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (

1863), developed here and spread all the way to this day.

My ancestor Liu Yu gave birth to Jiangnan, and later gave birth to three sons. Chang bingyi; The second son Liu; Liu's third son. My parents told two stories about my ancestor Liu Yufa. First of all, I took my second son, Liu (ancestor), to my hometown in Tongcheng to participate in the genealogy of my people. Genealogy was compiled in the early years of the Republic of China. I also brought back a set of rebuilt genealogy and hid it at home. There should be their names on this family tree. My parents said that the genealogy may be 18, and my family has 32 generations in the genealogy (note that these 32 generations are: Xiao Ke Xianyang, Liang Wen respectful, honest and kind, great and upright, ancestor of God, Sun Mou, Ji Duo Shou Zhi, Tian Xiu). Before the 32nd generation, the 32nd generation was handed down from my parents by my grandfather, and some words or sounds may be inaccurate. Unfortunately, it was burned during the Cultural Revolution. The second is to move the ancestral graves to their hometown in Tongcheng, Ningguo. Because the ancestor Liu Yufa worked hard in Ningguo, diligently managed the family, and after a few years, he returned to his hometown and moved to his ancestral grave. At that time, there were dozens of ancestral graves moved to Ningguo, such as the tomb of his father Liu Song Lin (the tomb is still on the mountain behind my house, and the inscription is clear), and the tomb of his uncle Liu Bailin is in Shangyuan Village in Ningguo now.

We don't know which branch of Tongcheng Liu belongs to, nor where our hometown is in Tongcheng. However, it is not wrong to go to Tongcheng and Tongzhi of Qing Dynasty in Jiangnan for two years.

My family has a plaque given by the government (specification: about 3 meters long and 80-90 centimeters wide). The inscription on the plaque is "Qi Fang De Sun", and the inscription may be "Fuzhou Prefecture, Jiangxi Province". The font is traditional, with many lines and few lines, and the plaque is red and gold. All the words destroyed during the Cultural Revolution were shoveled away, leaving only wooden blocks. I don't know which generation and year it was.

Growing up, my grandfather and my parents said every day: We came from Tongcheng to Jiangnan, and our ancestors were Pengcheng County and Chen Zhaotang. My uncles also said that when they were young, they would make lanterns with the words "Chen Zhaotang" on them every New Year.

Now our family tree has been destroyed, and there are two things: one is the family tree box, and the other is that the' re' given by the government is still in my house. There may be inscriptions on the graves of my ancestors Liu Songlin and Liu Yufa, and some information may be found.
