In Suzhou Museum, witness the grand structure of "Light Magician".

In Suzhou in midsummer, the clouds that covered the sky did not bring a trace of shade. The clouds were brightly illuminated by the sun behind them, and the blazing light was very unbearable. However, people's enthusiasm for visiting Suzhou Museum is as high as this temperature, and tourists are woven and endless.

I came to Subo once on 20/0/8, and I was in a hurry. I could only look at cultural relics, but I didn't have time to look at Mr. Pei's masterpiece, the last master of modern architecture. I want to make up for this regret this time.

If you have a unique vision, you are the master of the moment. anonymous

Come on, concentrate on capturing the light and dark changes in space, and let's start a wonderful "light magic" journey.

The miracle of light begins at the entrance of the museum. The double-eaved roof of the gate is made of steel frame glass, and the light pours in from all directions, making the four roofs very light, which seems to open and close at any time and fly away.

After checking the ticket, I walked into the door. In front of me is a big angular house with a gray frame and a white background. A tall house is opening a big glass door.

In traditional private gardens, the house located at the entrance is called "hall", which is large in shape and used for entertaining guests, banquets and discussions, and is also the hub connecting various functional areas. If Mr. Su is regarded as a garden, the foyer is the "hall" of this garden. The lobby faces south, and the whole south is covered with large transparent glass.

Through the glass door, I suddenly entered a geometric world of black and white, and squares and/or triangular squares in all directions spelled out indoor walls and ceilings.

There are corridors leading to the exhibition hall on the east and west sides of the hall, and the weather is crisp.

I have also been to the corridors of Suzhou gardens, especially the curved corridors of Lingering Garden, but they are all outdoor, and this corridor is indoor ... Wait, is it really indoor? A skylight fell from the top and scattered on the wall, the ground and tourists. It suddenly occurred to me that Mr. Bei is good at using glass and guiding light. He is a "light magician".

"There must be light!"

"hmm ... but the summer in Jiangnan is very sunny!"

"So there is a shade under the glass ceiling. Don't you feel like a shady bamboo shed? " The girl standing next to the front desk wears a ponytail and a volunteer vest, and Mandarin has a soft breath.

"Bamboo shed density is different. I think this dense and regular ceiling looks like a pair of open cicada wings. " I waved to the smiling volunteers and walked into the corridor.

The promenade is spacious and high, and the ceiling is not a straight line, but high and low. The gap between the two ceilings is blocked with glass to introduce more light. The direct skylight was cut off by the horizontally covered cicada wings, turned into soft white, and sprinkled into the corridor, clear as water, like a tree-lined.

The walls on both sides of the corridor are simple gray frames and white backgrounds, one side leads to the exhibition hall, and the other side has several large hexagonal glass windows, which occupy 1/3 of the wall. Looking out through the window, there is a small garden outside. There is a pomegranate tree planted within two meters square, and a beautiful Taihu stone stands beside the tree. Several heavy fruits hung straight on the Taihu stone.

This small garden is also called "patio". Several patios are cleverly distributed between corridors and houses in all directions. No matter where you are, a tree and a stone come into view through the glass window, and the sky falls as if you were in the wild.

Without the scenery outside these windows, the white wall would look dark. If you want to hang a decorative painting, even if you have a clever chess game, how can you get natural color and fragrance?

These patios connect all parts of the museum and make the whole building full of vitality, just like an "air eye"

The exhibition hall on the other side of the corridor also introduces outdoor scenery with floor-to-ceiling glass.

In addition to borrowing light and scenery, I also borrow water and bamboo.

At the corner of the corridor is an elevated staircase leading to the second floor. The high space makes people suddenly see the light, and a piece of green comes into view. The air flowing out of the corridor flies up and down, driving fog and water to penetrate into the skin. It turned out that a clump of green bamboo was planted on the stairs, and several lush bamboo branches reached the ceiling more than ten meters high. There is a small pool next to the bamboo forest, and the clear water is swaying slightly, introducing a quiet atmosphere.

This is really exquisite handwriting! Use a lot of glass to introduce natural light and landscape, and then use a small body of water to surround the room with water vapor. I looked up and saw the foggy sky. Looking around, there were flowers, trees and a quiet lake. Moisture soaked my skin as if I were in a forest stream.

Go along the corridor on both sides of the east and west, and two bends will lead to the backyard in the north.

As soon as I entered the park, the first thing that caught my eye was the flaky rockery on the north wall, which was not only a rockery, but also a landscape painting.

There is a mountain in the distance, a lake in front, a bridge on the lake and a loose bridge at the bridge head. The white wall is both a drawing paper and a blank space in the painting. In front of me, a stream of clear water rolled away and there was a flat bridge on it. I just feel that the water is endless and the mountains are far away.

On the mountain, Yellowstone is vast, Qingfeng is steep, the peaks are gradually far away and endless, and between the lakes and mountains, there is Amin Xiu. Careful observation shows that the central part of the bluestone is slightly lighter in color, just like a cloud belt flowing on the mountainside.

From the Pingqiao bridge by the water to the west platform, I saw a quaint, gray-white house opposite, standing between Tianshui, with pine trees and osmanthus trees and elegant nets.

The shape and color of this landscape painting are extremely simple, so it is very shocking. From the inside out, it is sincere. For example, Ceng Zi said, "Sincerity is in the middle, and the shape is outside."

With modernist lines as "pillars" and the colors of traditional ink painting as "plates", bridges fly into the sky, transforming the traditional academic spirit from ancient times to the present. At this moment, the garden is not only a building, but also an inner expression.

It is reported that the design of Suzhou Museum is Mr. Bei's "personal project belonging to the soul". When Mr. Bei was a teenager, as the eldest grandson of his family, he would come to Suzhou from Shanghai every summer vacation and live in the Bei's mansion in Panru Lane to learn about family affairs. At that time, the Bayesian family had purchased the famous lion forest in the ancient garden and incorporated it into the mansion. The impression of Suzhou gardens naturally penetrated into the memory of teenagers, and after more than 70 years, it merged with the "shell school" to create this macro structure with the tolerance of crossing China and the West and running through ancient and modern times.

Under the magic wand of this "bright magician", Suzhou Museum is exquisite and smooth everywhere.

Moreover, the master not only showed us exquisite masterpieces, but also integrated traditional gardens with modernism, creating a road of modern gardens in China.
