For China students who plan to go to universities in Italy that belong to this project, these two offices should be consultation points for China students, providing them with information about relevant school courses, reception measures, Italian language and culture courses and so on. It is estimated that from the next academic year (2005-2006), more than 2,000 China students will study in Italian universities.
2. Coordinate China doctoral students to go to Italy.
Through its offices in Italy and China, the Italian Federation of University Presidents arranges and coordinates China students who are interested in pursuing doctoral programs in Italian universities. In addition, students should be provided with information about reception measures and language training.
3. Coordinate China researchers to go to Italy.
In order to realize the scientific cooperation agreement between universities, enterprises and research institutions in Italy and China, and promote the implementation of research and innovation plans, the Federation of Italian University Presidents and the Federation of Italian Industrialists will, together with China partners to be determined, analyze the feasibility of scientific cooperation between public and private research systems in Italy and China, and promote the exchange of researchers between the two countries.
4. Coordinate China interns to go to Italy.
The two offices will also assist China undergraduates and graduates who are willing to practice in local Italian enterprises or Italian enterprises in China to make internship arrangements. The above interns must study in an intensive Italian class (country or region) held in Italy or China and pass relevant examinations.
