Brief introduction of Nanchang University
The school is located in Nanchang, Jiangxi, a famous historical and cultural city in the south of the Yangtze River and a dynamic capital of the world. There are five campuses: Qianhu, Qingshan Lake, Donghu Lake, Poyang Lake and Fuzhou, covering an area of 8,098 mu (about 5.399 million square meters), with a school building area of 2 1.3 million square meters. It has formed a public service system with smooth information, advanced facilities, resource sharing, network TV, all-in-one card, security and broadcasting.
Qianhu main campus: located in Honggutan New District of Nanchang City, it is the main training base for undergraduates, master students and doctoral students. Qianhu Campus is the first stop of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Torch Relay Nanchang Station. The torch relay of Ruyi Nanchang Station of the 11th National Games was also held in Qianhu Campus of Nanchang University on September 9th, 2009.
Qingshan Hubei Campus is a training base for food science postgraduates, software undergraduates, continuing education colleges, affiliated primary and secondary schools, as well as on-the-job personnel and personnel with equivalent academic qualifications to pursue master's degrees.
Southern District: It is the school-running base of Institute of Technology.
Donghu Campus: It is the base of medical scientific research, medical postgraduate education, advanced education for undergraduates (including international students) and continuing medical education.
Poyang Lake Campus: It is the base of * * * Youth College and higher vocational and technical education.
Fuzhou Campus: It is the second batch of medical teaching and medical higher vocational education bases at undergraduate and junior college levels.
Main teaching building: The main teaching building is one of the earliest buildings in Qianhu Campus, and most students in the whole school will be arranged to have classes here, so it is also called "comprehensive building". The first five floors and the last four floors of the comprehensive building include a microcomputer language lab, classrooms for normal classes, and several postgraduate entrance examination classrooms. The ground floor of the building is the parking lot, which is the basic course education center of the school. The whole teaching building can accommodate 15700 students at the same time.
Main Stadium: Standing on the stone bridge on Runxi Lake overlooking the stadium, the membrane structure at the top of the podium is curved and tangible. There is a high spotlight in the stadium, where you can watch the football match at night. Every school sports meeting is held here with 5330 seats.
