Trains on Wuhan Metro Line 2

On the silver body of the first train of Wuhan Metro Line 2, there is a bright and striking plum blossom red. Walk into the carriage, armrest, seat railing, etc. They are also painted with "plum blossom red", which makes people feel like they are in the East Lake Meiyuan.

"Every railway line in Wuhan has a different logo color. Plum blossom is the city flower of Wuhan, so the first subway line in Wuhan is marked with plum blossom red. " King-Ping Lau, Business Manager of Urban Rail Development Department of CSR Zhuji Company, introduced.

There are 8 doors in each car, and the bar LCD screen above the doors is eye-catching because it is completely different from the display screen above the doors of Wuhan Rail Transit 1 Line. This LCD screen is first used in subway trains in China, and its function is much more powerful than that of Wuhan Rail Transit 1 Line. When the train is running, a dynamic road map can be displayed; After arriving at the station, the route map is hidden, and the station name is displayed at the largest size. It is suggested that the train open the left door or the right door to facilitate passengers to get off. It can also display information such as transfer routes.

At the back of each car, there is a parking area for disabled wheelchairs. After the wheelchair stops, people in the wheelchair can wear seat belts, so that the wheelchair will not slide at will. A carriage has six long seats. In winter, the heating equipment under the seat will heat up, making the ride more comfortable.

The train has the function of automatic driving. As long as you press the "ATO Start" key, the train can run automatically. Compared with Wuhan Rail Transit 1 Line, a monitoring screen is added in the driver's cab, which is connected with the camera in the carriage to comprehensively monitor the situation in the carriage and ensure the driving safety.

It is understood that the appearance and interior of the trains on Wuhan Metro Line 2 are designed by German companies. As the first subway line crossing the Yangtze River, Wuhan Metro Line 2 has a steep slope, with the slopes of entrances and exits at both ends reaching 30 ‰, which is equivalent to a vehicle traveling down one floor within 100 meters after entering the tunnel and climbing up one floor within 100 meters after entering the tunnel.

In order to ensure the safety of vehicles passing through the tunnel, a microcomputer-controlled resistance-air braking system independently developed by China was adopted in the development. Its double brakes can be used alone or in combination, which provides "double safety" for the train, with quick response, flexible operation and accurate anti-skid control. The network transmission adopts dual redundant bus control technology, which greatly improves the reliability and agility of the control system and enables the vehicle to switch up, down and up instantly on the flat ground.

In view of the sweltering and humid environment in Wuhan in summer, the vehicle adopts air conditioning with dehumidification function, and can automatically adjust the fresh air intake and cooling capacity according to the number of passengers, effectively improving the ride comfort. The train of Wuhan Metro Line 2 is the first silent subway vehicle in China, and various measures have been taken to reduce the noise inside the train: the ultra-static sound absorption board is used in the air supply duct of air conditioning, which can reduce the noise by more than 3 decibels; In the tunnel with the weakest sound insulation, the maintenance-free double-shed tunnel without side protection can reduce the noise by more than 2 decibels; The floor adopts aluminum honeycomb double-layer structure, which can reduce noise by about 3 decibels.

The energy-saving performance of the train is good, and the weight of each car is about 1 ton on the basis of Wuhan rail transit 1 line vehicles. This alone can save about 50,000 kWh per train every year.

At the beginning of Wuhan Metro Line 2, each train was organized in 6 sections, with a maximum running speed of 80km/h and a maximum passenger capacity of 2,000 passengers. Compared with Wuhan Rail Transit 1 Line, it can carry nearly 700 more passengers. In the long run, the capacity can be further improved by expanding and adding two groups.

It is reported that the first two trains of Wuhan Metro Line 2 arrived in Wuhan in April and put into trial operation on September 25th.
