I. Working conditions
If a motor vehicle needs to travel on the road temporarily under any of the following circumstances, the owner of the motor vehicle shall apply for a temporary driving license plate at the motor vehicle management office.
(1) Not sold;
(two) the motor vehicle obtained by purchase, transfer, gift, etc. is not registered;
(3) Scientific research and stereotype test;
(four) special motor vehicles whose axle load, total mass and overall dimensions exceed the national standards and are not registered.
Two. Materials to be provided [see Note 18 for details].
(a) the original and photocopy of the identity certificate of the motor vehicle owner.
(two) the original and photocopy of the compulsory insurance policy for motor vehicle traffic accident liability.
(3) Except for scientific research and type test, in other cases, it is necessary to provide the original factory certificate of motor vehicle or the import certificate of imported motor vehicle, and a copy of the special motor vehicle that is not registered because its axle load, total mass and overall dimensions exceed the national standards.
(4) If the motor vehicle has not been registered after being acquired by means of purchase, transfer or gift, a certificate of the origin of the motor vehicle is also required.
(five) belongs to scientific research, type test, but also need to provide a written application and motor vehicle safety and technical inspection certificate.
Third, the procedure.
(1) The owner or agent of the motor vehicle shall bring the required certificates and vouchers to the queuing system at the entrance of the lobby of Pudong Inspection Station 1 building to receive the Queuing Voucher, and go to the window of 1-23 building to handle it.
(2) Pay at the window 44-46 of Building 1.
(3) With the payment voucher, go to the window of 1 Building 2 1-23 to get the temporary vehicle number plate.
Fourth, the charging standard
Number plate of temporary driving vehicle: 5 yuan/Zhang Hu Driving Fee [2004] No.66.
Verb (abbreviation of verb) validity period of temporary driving license
(1) Temporary driving within the jurisdiction: no more than 15 days at a time;
(2) Temporary driving across jurisdictions: no more than 30 days at a time;
(3) Scientific research, type test and temporary driving of special motor vehicles exceeding the standard: no more than 90 days.
(4) If a motor vehicle is obtained by unsold means, purchase, transfer, gift, etc. and fails to register, the number of times of issuing a temporary driving license shall not exceed three times.

Acceptance time: Monday to Saturday 9:00- 17:00.
Acceptance place: No.2638 North Gate of Hunan Highway/Building KLOC-0/.
