Introduction of Peachtree Railway Line?

Taoshu Railway is a combination of the newly-built Yushu-Lan Shu Railway and the original Yu Tao Railway, and it is a part of Songyuan-Taolaizhao-Yushu-Lan Shu-Dunhua northern traffic corridor in the architectural planning of Jilin Province's "five vertical and three horizontal" railway network.

Taoshu Railway. The original Yu Tao line starts from Taolaizhao Town, Fuyu County in the west and ends in Yushu City in the east, with a total length of 56 kilometers. Built in 1943, it is a local feeder railway for transporting agricultural products. With the development of local economy, as the largest agricultural county in China, Yushu City, Jilin Province, known as the "first granary in the world", has an increasingly obvious demand for railways, while the only Yu Tao railway is increasingly difficult to meet the needs of local economic development, and it is urgent to build a new Yushu railway. The northwest of Yushu-Yushu Railway is led from Yushu Station of Yu Tao Line, and the southeast is connected with Shulan Station of Ji Shu Line and Rabin Line, with a total length of 6 1 km and a total investment of 700 million yuan, which is jointly funded by the Ministry of Railways and Jilin Province. It was completed and opened to traffic in 2009.

After the completion of Yushu Railway, together with the original Yu Tao Railway, it will be called Taoshu Railway (it is expected to be renamed Songtao Railway and Lan Shu-Dunhua Railway after completion). The total length of the line is 1 17 km, which is a single-track railway and is under the jurisdiction of Changchun Locomotive Depot of Shenyang Railway Bureau.

The completion of Yushu Railway has formed the connecting line between beijing-harbin railway and Rabin Railway, breaking the bottleneck of railway transportation in Yushu City, which is of great significance to the economic development of Yushu City and even the northern part of Jilin Province.
