Main Functions of Gansu Information Center

1, around the main work of the provincial party committee and the provincial government, carry out research on applied countermeasures, pay attention to the overall, strategic and long-term issues in economic and social development and reform and opening up, pay attention to social hot and difficult issues, and provide economic information services and policy consulting services at home and abroad, inside and outside the province for the government;

2. Carry out mid-term evaluation of the implementation of the national economic and social development plan, predict and analyze the economic operation situation, and provide suggestions for government departments to formulate medium-and long-term plans, annual plans and macro-decisions;

3. To study the major theoretical problems of macro-economy and the major practical problems that need to be solved urgently, and put forward research reports with academic value;

4. Coordinate and guide the planning, construction and operation and maintenance of three-level economic information systems in provinces, cities and counties, and research and develop business application systems, information management systems and network security systems;

5 to carry out scientific demonstration and engineering consultation of information projects, and provide information technology services such as network construction, website design, system integration, engineering supervision, software development and personnel training;

6, responsible for the construction, management and maintenance of the main economic networks of the provincial government-Gansu economic information network and Gansu e-government extranet, and provide economic information services to the society;

7. Study the development strategy of informatization, prepare the development plan of informatization, and formulate informatization standards and norms;

8. Complete the important work assigned by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and undertake the relevant business work of the National Information Center and the National Macroeconomic Research Institute.
