There are "seventy-two springs" in Jinan, which is known as "lotus flowers on all sides and willows on three sides, a city with mountains and a half city with lakes". Jinan is known as the natural karst spring museum because of its numerous springs and abundant water. There are four famous springs in Jinan, Baotu Spring, Black Tiger Spring, Wulongtan Spring and Pearl Spring, covering more than 100 natural springs. Because there are many springs in Jinan, it is called Quancheng.
The spring water in the ancient city of Jinan is the densest. 1, Baotu Spring
Baotu Spring, located in Lixia District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, is the first spring in Jinan in ancient literature. Baotu Spring is 30m long,18m wide and 2.2m deep. The temperature in spring is 65438 08℃. Baotu Spring spews 70,000 cubic meters of spring water every day, with good water quality and can be directly drunk.
2. Black Tiger Spring
Black Tiger Spring is located under the steep cliff on the south bank of Jiefangge moat in Lixia District, Jinan City, Shandong Province. The height is 2m, the depth is 3m, the width is 1.7m, and the maximum water inflow is 410000m3/day. In ancient times, there were huge stones like Hei Hu in front of the cave, hence the name "Black Tiger Spring".
3. Wulongtan
Wulongtan is located in tianqiao district, Jinan City, Shandong Province. Also known as Wulongtan and Longju Spring. It is 70 meters long, 35 meters wide and more than 4 meters deep, and there are 27 spring pools in it. Among them, 1 1 was rated as 72 famous springs in Jinan.
