Anxian county has been known as "the blessed land in central Jiangxi" since ancient times. Located in the west of Ji 'an City, Jiangxi Province, it is located in the geographical centers of Ji 'an City, Xinyu City and Yichun City, one hour's drive from Ji 'an City, Xinyu City and Yichun City, and adjacent to Jinggangshan, the revolutionary holy land, with a land area of 2,800 square kilometers and a population of nearly 420,000. Gan dialect is widely used.
Anxian is the hometown of ham, bamboo, camphor tree and Chenshan Toona sinensis, and the first batch of commodity grain base counties in China.

Before Qin Dynasty, Anfu belonged to Wu and Chu successively. In 222 BC, the Qin Dynasty established Ancheng and Anping counties in today's Anfu. County governments are located in today's Yantian Town and Zhujiang Township respectively.
In the early years of the Western Han Dynasty, Anping County was one of the eighteen counties in Changyu. Anxian County is a county under the jurisdiction of Changsha County. In the second year of Wu Baoding in the Three Kingdoms (267), Ancheng, Pingdu (in 96 AD, Anping was changed to Pingdu), Yichun, Pingxiang, Xinyu and Yongxin merged to form Ancheng County. The county government is located in Ancheng County and belongs to Yangzhou.
In the first year of Taikang (280), Ancheng County was added to Guangxing County, Ancheng County was changed to Anfu County, and 7 counties were unified under Jingzhou. In the ninth year of Yang Di (589), Anfu and Pingdu counties merged into Ancheng County.
In ten years (590), Ancheng County was abolished and belonged to Ancheng County of Jizhou. In the eighteenth year (598), Ancheng County was changed to Anfu County. In the fifth year of Tang Wude (622), Anfu County was promoted to Yingzhou, and in the seventh year (624), Anfu County was changed to Anfu County, and the name Anfu began to exist.
In Zhenyuan (1295), Anfu was promoted to a state. Wu Ming was a county in the second year (1369). In the ninth year of Qianlong reign (1744), Shangxi Town in Anfu County (that is, the crossroads, lakes, rocks, Fanglou, Gaozhou, Liushi and other towns in Lianhua County today) set aside 12 capital cities, and part of the jurisdiction set aside by Yongxin County set up Lotus Hall (now Lianhua County). Since then, the territory of Anfu has remained basically unchanged.
