The school has now become a secondary vocational school with large scale, strong teachers, complete equipment and strong overall strength.
The development of our school has been highly valued by the municipal government. In 2004, with the strong support of the municipal government, our school requisitioned 50 mu of teaching land and expanded its new campus. After extensive research and demonstration, our school has established the school-running idea of employment-oriented, teaching and scientific research first, reform as the driving force, teaching as the center, key majors as the leader, vocational skills training as the focus, and educating people as the foundation, and determined that the school should adopt multi-level and multi-form school-running, expand its scale, strengthen key majors, become bigger and stronger, and improve its quality and efficiency. For a long time, our school has been recruiting new junior high school graduates in Wuyi area of Jiangmen to carry out academic education according to the city's enrollment plan. On the other hand, we should make full use of our school's resources and talents to provide employment training for government departments, enterprises and institutions. And in view of the changes in the labor market, our school has set up various forms of computer operation skills and computer application and software technology promotion training.
Our school is located in Jiangmen, the hometown of overseas Chinese. Jiangmen is a national science and technology innovation pilot city, a national informatization pilot city, the first batch of pilot cities to coordinate the comprehensive reform of urban and rural education, and the first pilot city of APEC to promote the sustainable development of regional economy. Judging from the industrial development of our city, various industries are in urgent need of a large number of computer talents at all levels. Because our school carries out teaching and training in a real post environment and emphasizes the cultivation of students' skills, every graduate has excellent professional skills and obtained diplomas and various certificates, and the one-time employment rate of all graduates reaches 100% every year. Every year graduates are welcomed by employers and generally praised as "easy to use" and "useful". A large number of students have been "booked" by many employers before graduation. Every time our school applied for the national and provincial computer key construction major (point), it received strong support from the municipal government and the higher education department.
