The college was formerly known as Hangzhou University of Adult Science and Technology and Hangzhou Radio and TV University, both founded in 1978. In 2009, Hangzhou University of Adult Science and Technology merged with Hangzhou Radio and TV University and was upgraded to Hangzhou Vocational College of Science and Technology.
Teaching construction
As of July 2020, the school has three campuses, namely, Hangzhou City, Fuyang Gao Qiao and Jiande Yanzhou, with a total area of about 958 mu and a total construction area of about 440,000 square meters. The total value of various instruments and equipment is nearly 300 million yuan, and there are more than 800,000 books in the collection.
There are 7 secondary vocational colleges, which can enroll 34 majors. There are about 800 faculty members, including 522 faculty members, full-time students 10000 and adult education students 16000.
