Why doesn't the car wiper work?

When it rains, the car wiper will not move or work. You can deal with it from the following aspects:

1. Please refer to the vehicle manual for the type of wiper used.

2. Pay attention to whether the connection between the strut and the wiper rocker arm is correct. Because some arms are fixed on the rocker arm with screws, and some are locked with convex buckles.

3. Pull up the wiper and touch it with your fingers to check whether the cleaned rubber wiper is damaged and the rubber sheet is elastic. If the wiper blade is aged, hardened or cracked, then the wiper is broken.

4. When testing, put the wiper switch at various speed positions, and check whether the wiper keeps a certain speed at different speeds. Especially in the intermittent working state, we should also pay attention to whether the wiper keeps a certain speed when moving.

5. Check the wiping state and whether the wiper strut swings unevenly or leaks. If the following three conditions occur, the wiper is unqualified:

First, the swing is not stable, and the wiper jumps abnormally;

Second, the rubber contact surface can not be completely attached to the glass surface, resulting in wiping residue;

Thirdly, after wiping, the glass surface is in the state of water film, and fine stripes, fog and linear residues are produced on the glass.

6. Pay attention to whether the motor has abnormal noise during the test, especially if the wiper motor "buzzes" and does not rotate. This shows that the mechanical transmission part of the wiper is rusted or stuck. At this time, the wiper switch should be turned off immediately to prevent the motor from burning out.

7. Some people think that the longer the wiper blade, the larger the brush area and the better the field of vision. In fact, the wiper blade is not as long as possible. Lengthening the length of wiper blade can increase the visual field, but it will also increase the burden of wiper motor and wiper rod. Of course, it can be lengthened, but it must be guaranteed that it will never interfere with the normal work of the wiper.
