Introduction of scenic spots
Yuelu Mountain or "Lushan Scenic Area" is located in Yuelu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, and is the tail peak of Nanyue 72 Peak. Lushan Mountain Scenic Area is one of the core scenic spots of Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area, covering an area of 5.28 square kilometers, which is located on the west bank of Xiangjiang River and belongs to the urban mountain scenic area.
There are 977 species of plants in Yuelu Mountain, and there are many ancient and famous trees, such as Luohansong in Jin Dynasty, Ginkgo biloba in Tang Dynasty, Cinnamomum camphora in Song and Yuan Dynasties, and Fengli pear in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Yuelu Mountain has 15 key protected cultural relics at or above the provincial level, and there are many tombs of martyrs and celebrities. At the foot of Yuelu Mountain, there is Yuelu Academy, which is listed as one of the four major academies in ancient China. There is an ancient Lushan Temple on the mountainside, which is known as "the first scene in Han and Wei Dynasties and the first scene in Hunan". There is Yunlu Taoist Temple on the top of the mountain, so Yuelu Mountain is also an area where Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism blend.

(1) Love Night Pavilion
Love Evening Pavilion was founded by Luo Dian, Dean of Yuelu Academy, in the 57th year of Qing Qianlong. Together with Zuiweng Pavilion in Chuxian County, Huxin Pavilion in Hangzhou West Lake and Taoranting Pavilion in Beijing Taoranting Park, it is called the four famous pavilions in China.
Aiwan Pavilion was originally named Hongye Pavilion, also known as Aifeng Pavilion. Later, according to Du Mu's theory, Bi Yuan, Governor of Huguang, said, "The stone path in Hanshan Mountain is steep, and there are people in the depths of white clouds. Stop and sit in the maple forest late, and the frost leaves are red in February. " This poem was renamed Love Night Pavilion.
(2) Yuelu Academy
One of the four ancient academies in China, it is also the best preserved ancient academy in China. Yuelu Academy is located in Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area, a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction on the west bank of Xiangjiang River in Changsha City, Hunan Province.
Most of the existing buildings are relics of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The main buildings are the gate, the second gate, the lecture hall, the semi-study hall, the teaching hall, Baiquanxuan, the Imperial Bookstore and the Confucian Temple. Each part is connected with each other, which completely shows the magnificent scene of ancient architecture in China. In addition to architectural relics, Yuelu Academy is also famous for preserving a large number of monuments, such as "Lushan Temple Monument" carved in Tang Dynasty, "Yuelu Academy Monument Workshop" carved by Song Zhenzong in Ming Dynasty, "Cheng Zi Si Yan Monument" carved in Qing Dynasty, "Learning Heaven", "Daonan Zhengmai" carved in Qing Dynasty, "Zhong Xiao Monument" carved by Ouyang Zhenghuan and so on.
(3) Hershey Terrace
Hexi Terrace is a humanistic resort in Yuelu Academy culture, which has a certain influence on ancient China literati and modern Hunan celebrities. Famous Neo-Confucians Zhu and Zhang Wei in the Southern Song Dynasty, founders of Neo-Confucians' Mind Studies in the Ming Dynasty, etc. all left poems related to He Xitai and engraved them on this screen.
(4) stone house initiation ceremony
The stone carving of Yinxin Stone House is located in the southwest of Baihequan, near the right side of the stone path of Yunlufeng. Also known as "Imperial Book Pavilion". The stone carving of this pavilion still exists. It is a huge white marble plaque embedded in the gable, with a height of 0.93 meters and a width of 2.88 meters. The four characters "Buried Stone House" are engraved in regular script, dignified and elegant, vigorous and powerful. On the left side of the plaque is written "Daoguang is not an autumn moon", on the right side is written "Imperial Pen" and "Tao Shu, Minister of the Ministry of War of the Prince and Minister of the Two Rivers, is willing to accept a copy", and the imperial seal of "Treasure of Daoguang" is engraved in the middle of the top. Surrounded by two dragons playing with beads.
