Latin scientific name (Musel La Lasio Carpa (France. C.Y. Wuex H.W. Li) is native to Yunnan and is a unique flower in China.

Yunnan folk also use its stem juice to detoxify alcohol and make hemostatic drugs. Now this beautiful plant has been introduced and cultivated in the tropical greenhouse of Beijing Botanical Garden.
