Background: At the end of 759, Du Fu's family wandered to Chengdu, found a wasteland near Huanhuaxi in the western suburbs of Chengdu, and built a hut. Finally, they temporarily ended their wandering life and had a place to live. The construction of the hut is not easy, and everything needs the help of relatives and friends. But the hut was not built firmly. One autumn two years later, a strong wind swept away the thatched cottage. Du Fu's family had to spend an awkward sleepless night in the rain. Du Fu was deeply moved by this scene and wrote the immortal poem "The Hut was Blown by Autumn Wind". This poem was written in the second year of Tang Suzong last year (76 1), before the Anshi Rebellion was settled.
