I. Historical evolution of the College
Shanxi Finance and Trade Vocational and Technical College, formerly known as Shanxi Finance and Trade School, was founded in August 1978. It is a full-time general secondary specialized school approved by the Shanxi Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It was originally under the former Shanxi Finance Committee.
Since its establishment, with the reform and adjustment of relevant government agencies, Shanxi Vocational and Technical College of Finance and Trade (formerly Shanxi Finance and Trade School, the same below) has changed its affiliation:1981April, and changed to the former Shanxi Provincial Department of Commerce; 1993 was changed to belong to the former Shanxi Provincial Department of Domestic Trade; In 2000, it was changed from 1 1 to Shanxi Provincial Department of Education, which has continued to this day.
The construction and development of Shanxi Vocational and Technical College of Finance and Trade has roughly gone through three stages:
The first stage (1978- 1994) is the stage of establishing schools and establishing provincial and ministerial key middle schools. During this period, the enrollment target of the college is high school students, and the talent training specification is financial secondary vocational and technical talents. During this period, the college developed steadily from scratch and from small to large. 1993 10 was rated as a provincial key middle school. 19941110 was awarded as the key secondary school of the Ministry of Internal Trade in October.
The second stage (1995-2000) is the stage of establishing national key technical secondary schools. During this period, the enrollment targets and personnel training specifications of the college are still secondary vocational and technical personnel in finance and economics. During this period, the construction and development of the college was gradually accelerated, the scale of running a school was further expanded, and the conditions for running a school were improving day by day. In May, 2000, it was rated as a national key technical secondary school.
The third stage (2000-2007) is the stage of holding higher vocational education and establishing higher vocational and technical colleges. During this period, the college began to recruit 3+2 higher vocational students in 2000, and was renamed Shanxi Finance and Trade Vocational and Technical College in April 2002. Approved enrollment of 3000 people. At that time, three-year senior high school students were enrolled, and the college's talent training specifications were determined as higher vocational and technical talents in finance and economics. In July 2005, the college was upgraded from county-level establishment to deputy department-level establishment. During this period, the construction and development of the college accelerated, the scale of running a school expanded rapidly, and the conditions for running a school were more perfect. By 2007, student dormitories, training buildings, student canteens, multimedia classrooms, ERP laboratories, network laboratories, tour guide simulation rooms, and reading rooms have been built. Built a campus network; Dozens of off-campus training bases such as Shanxi Dazheng Certified Public Accountants, Meitehao Supermarket, Shanxi Cheng Jinchang New Technology Co., Ltd., Taiyuan Yuan Bing Refrigeration Engineering Co., Ltd. and Shanxi Ma Hong Travel Agency have been added. There are six departments (departments) including accounting department, economic and trade department, computer and information technology department, tourism department, applied electronics department and public education department. The college now has 12 majors, including computerized accounting, financial management, asset evaluation and management, marketing, logistics management, e-commerce, computer application technology, computer network technology, tourism management, business English, business secretarial (not enrolled), refrigeration and refrigeration technology. Among them, the marketing major is a provincial-level reform demonstration major; Accounting computerization and marketing are college-level demonstration majors.
