What regulations should be paid attention to in the inspection of imported used mechanical and electrical products?

Inspection and supervision of imported used mechanical and electrical products begins with pre-shipment inspection, including pre-shipment inspection, port inspection, destination inspection and supervision and management. When collecting and utilizing used mechanical and electrical products, it can be roughly divided into three steps:

1. Determine whether pre-shipment inspection is required. Search in the List of Inspection and Supervision Measures for Imported Used Mechanical and Electrical Products (Version 20 14) (hereinafter referred to as the List of Inspection and Supervision Measures). If it belongs to Table 2 of the Measures for the Administration of Inspection Supervision Measures List, the receiving user can contact the pre-shipment inspection institution by itself, apply for pre-shipment inspection and obtain the pre-shipment inspection certificate.

2. Port inspection. Products requiring pre-shipment inspection certificates shall be declared to the inspection and quarantine organ at the port of entry with the pre-shipment inspection certificates and relevant necessary materials; Products that do not need to be inspected before shipment shall be declared to the port agency with the Import Declaration Form for Used Mechanical and Electrical Products filled out by the receiving and using unit and relevant necessary materials.

3. Destination inspection. After the goods are declared at the port, the receiving unit shall apply to the destination inspection and quarantine institution for inspection with the Notice of Transshipment of Inbound Goods and relevant necessary materials.
