Henan Vocational College of Industry and Information Technology, affiliated to Henan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, is a public full-time ordinary college approved by Henan Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education.
The college now has 10 teaching departments (colleges) such as Department of Resources and Environment, Department of department of mechanical engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, Department of Information Engineering, Department of Finance and Business, Department of Foundation, Department of Ideological and Political Education, Department of Sports, and College of Continuing Education.
It has 39 majors and directions, including mechanical manufacturing and automation, electromechanical integration technology, electrical automation technology, urban rail transit operation management, UAV application technology, computer application technology, mobile communication technology, big data technology and application, Internet of Things application technology, e-commerce, accounting, construction engineering technology and engineering cost.
Around industry and informatization, five major professional groups are being built, namely, resources, environment and safety, equipment manufacturing, civil construction, electronic information, finance and trade. In 2020, the electromechanical integration specialty group won the construction project of high-level specialty group in Henan Province.
