The Regulations on Motor Vehicle Registration stipulates that:
Article 49? The owner of a motor vehicle may, within three months before the expiration of the motor vehicle inspection period, apply to the vehicle management office at the place of registration for the inspection conformity mark. ?
Before the application, the owner of a motor vehicle shall deal with the road traffic safety violations and traffic accidents involving the vehicle. At the time of application, the motor vehicle owner shall fill in the application form and submit the driving license, compulsory insurance certificate for motor vehicle traffic accident liability, certificate of tax payment or exemption of vehicle and vessel tax, and certificate of motor vehicle safety and technical inspection.
The vehicle management office shall, within one day from the date of acceptance, confirm the motor vehicle, review the submitted certificates and vouchers, and issue inspection marks.
