I. Returned overseas students applying for permanent residence in this Municipality shall meet the following conditions:

The term of the labor (employment) contract signed by the employer and the returned overseas students is more than one year (inclusive), and the remaining contract term (from the date of application to the contract term) must be more than six months (inclusive). 3. The age of the applicant must be more than five years away from the statutory retirement age. The age of high-level overseas students who are recognized by the state or have special expertise and are in urgent need in this city may be appropriately relaxed, but the employer must first report to the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security (Shanghai Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs) and accept it after examination and approval.
2. What are the conditions for international students to settle in Shanghai and their families to move with them?
