The route passes through eight large and small headlands such as Chuanbiyan, Guizaijiao and Dapaitou and their separated beaches. The route has eight dangerous sections, mainly located in the headland and steep rock bank. Daya Bay has a small tidal range, but some sections can only pass safely at low tide, which is very dangerous at high tide and big waves. On rainy and foggy days, the road is slippery, the line of sight is limited, and the whole line is dangerous. It is difficult to grasp the balance in dangerous sections in windy weather, which also increases the danger. Under the scorching sun, hot rocks reflect heat, which is easy to overdraw physical strength and heatstroke, and is not suitable for crossing.
There are more than a dozen scenic spots and thrilling experience points along the way, such as headlands, caves, rock walls, stone forests and so on. And crossing caves and crevices, climbing rocks, climbing high and overlooking the sea, etc. There are five good rest, sightseeing and water replenishment points, including the famous abandoned building "Sunshine Holiday Hotel". At least five places can bypass the mountain road and avoid dangerous sections. When approaching Tung Chung, there are two uphill intersections, and the mountain road can directly reach the terminal of Tung Chung.
