I am reading Laozi's Tao Te Ching now. It's been a month, and I just finished reciting the 37th chapter of Tao Te Ching. The latter has a larger capacity, and I don't know if it can all pass.
You can't carry it for the sake of carrying it. If you understand, you will have a memory. Know it, experience it and understand it. This is the loss of the road. The Heart Sutra has more than 200 words. If you realize it, you don't need to read 600 Buddhist classics. If you can understand the 20 words "Everything has its way, like a dream, like dew, like electricity, you should see it this way", you don't have to look at the Diamond Sutra. It is easy to understand the Tao Te Ching by observing the surrounding environment, society, nature, cosmic phenomena and one's own heart.
