Do you often encounter this kind of trouble at work: a dime a dozen distractions, constant interruptions, and completing various KPIs before the deadline? These are the normal portrayal of our workplace. The frequent repetition of life makes us often feel unhappy, and it is difficult to concentrate on what we want to do.
This time, I share three wonderful tricks to activate my life, namely: cognitive stimulation, linking vitamins and interest trigger points.
① "cognitive stimulus"
Research shows that if you do the same thing every day, your brain will form a fixed circuit. Everything you do only activates a fixed area of the brain. This gives you an intuitive feeling: boredom and fatigue.
And when you try something you have never touched, or do repetitive work in a way you have never used before, your brain will feel excited and fresh. This process even exercised our concentration and delayed psychological problems such as Alzheimer's disease.
In the author's research, a very practical way of brain training is to take some courses that you have never tried. For example, a friend of his, who didn't know melody originally, suddenly decided to start learning piano when he was in his fifties.
This friend's experience is that when she was learning to read music, her brain was stimulated like a fire. This is how other areas of the brain feel when they are activated. Another friend of the author has mastered several languages, and he also had this experience when talking about trying to learn a new language.
The new curriculum not only brings new knowledge and information, but also brings new ways of thinking and academic structure. Therefore, they can exercise and shape your brain just like your brain gym.
(2) "linked vitamins"
In the past morning reading, we shared that one of the basic attributes of human beings is social interaction. Therefore, any form of contact, such as with people, things, animals, beliefs, etc. , can bring strong spiritual strength to people.
Tennis in Robinson Crusoe, dogs left behind by the elderly and children's dolls can all keep us healthy, happy and efficient to some extent. And when these connections are lost, we will feel very painful. The author calls this connection "another vitamin", that is, connecting vitamins.
How to maintain this connection? The author's suggestion has three points:
00 1 photo package.
If you make a photo of your lover and pet into a small camera bag, take it with you. When you are tired from work and depressed, just turn it out and have a look. They can bring you new strength.
002 reduce anxiety alone.
When you feel that you are deeply troubled by anxiety, try not to leave yourself alone. Calling someone, having a cup of coffee with someone, or going to someone's office for a few days are all good choices. This direct connection will give you the courage to face your anxiety.
003 keep a pet.
Why do more and more people start to keep pets? Because pets are masters of supplying "linked vitamins". Studies show that pets can reduce a person's stress level and make us more relaxed and happy.
③ "Interest Trigger Point"
Every profession has its own trigger point of interest, otherwise it is difficult for people to persist in doing one thing for a long time.
For example, the trigger point of doctor's interest is the successful treatment of patients; The trigger point of entrepreneurs' interests is the moment when they win big orders, get rich profits and make contributions to society; The trigger point of teachers' interest is the moment to help students answer questions. In short, the trigger points of interest in each profession are big and small. Only when you understand what can keep you interested in your work can you make more attempts in these directions.
For example, the trigger point of interest is like a strike in golf. No matter how many bad balls a player plays and how bad his mood is, as long as he plays a good ball, he can sweep away his previous decline and bad mood.
Therefore, locating the point of interest at work is to find that good shot. This strike may encourage you for a long time.
All you have to do is find more good balls and play more good balls. The more you associate your work with your grades, the more you are willing to work and improve yourself.
On the contrary, if you always think about your own problems and regret your choices, then your emotions will keep spinning in that circle and it will be difficult to get out.
To sum up, work and life are always dull, but there is always joy and comfort in dullness. If you want your brain to be surrounded by happiness and happiness, you should first look at the things that make you happy.
That's all for today. I hope it will inspire you. Remember to give you praise and encouragement.
