There are more than ten toll stations, namely Nanjing Liuhe, Yizheng, Yangzhou, Jiangdu, Zhuanqiao, Taizhou, Taixing North, Taixing East, Guangling, Jishi, Geshi, Er 'an, Jiuhua and Pingchao. Three transportation hubs, namely Justice Hub, Guangling Hub and Jiuhua Hub. Vehicles from Beijing-Shanghai Expressway in the north enter the east section of Tong Ning Expressway from Justice Hub, then turn to Jingguang Expressway from Guangling Hub, and enter the road network in southern Jiangsu via Jiangyin Yangtze River Bridge. From Justice Hub to Guangling Hub is a composite section of Beijing-Shanghai Expressway and Tong Ning Expressway, so this section is also marked as Beijing-Shanghai Expressway on some maps.

The expansion and reconstruction of expressway in Jiangdu-Guangling section of Tong Ning adopts the expansion scheme of in-situ bilateral widening, with a total length of 66 kilometers and an estimated investment of 465,438+200 million yuan, of which Taizhou section is 46.64 kilometers and 2.94 billion yuan. There are 7 interchanges, namely: Zhengyi Interchange, Huadang Interchange, Diaopu Interchange, Xuanbao Interchange, Taixing North Interchange, Taixing East Interchange and Guangling Interchange; Reconstruction of 58 bridges; Transform the justice service area and Xuanbao service area.

It is understood that since the opening of Beijing-Shanghai expressway in February, 20001,the traffic volume of Jiangdu-Guangling section in expressway, Tong Ning has increased rapidly, and the average daily traffic volume reached 43,000 standard buses in 2004. With the development of regional social economy, the integration of Yangtze River Delta and the development of Shanghai-Nanjing metropolitan area, the traffic volume has maintained a high growth rate. It is estimated that by 2030, the traffic volume of this section will reach 86,000 standard buses per day, and the existing four lanes will be unbearable.

After the completion of the expansion and transformation, Nanjing, Yangzhou, Taizhou and Nantong will be more closely linked and become a complete metropolitan area, which will also provide convenient conditions for connecting Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou metropolitan area and Shanghai metropolitan area.
