Wuxi Oil Pump Nozzle Research Institute Research Platform

Since the establishment of 1980, the former Ministry of Machinery Industry and FAW Group Corporation have reformed the infrastructure of the research institute many times, which has provided the research institute with relatively perfect test equipment and conditions. On the basis of making full use of these advanced equipment, our engine and fuel injection system are in a leading position in experimental research, calculation and analysis means, trial production and many other aspects.

⑴ The Institute has advanced testing instruments and equipment for engine fuel system, including French EFS EFI system test bench and small and medium power fuel injection pump test bench imported from Germany, Britain, America and Austria earlier. In terms of fuel system performance test, we have a new fuel injection rate tester from Xiao Ye Company of Japan, an instantaneous fuel injection quantity tester from EFS Company of France, a torque tester from Japan, a fuel injection pressure tester from Kistler Company of Switzerland, a 10MPa pressure injector flow tester, several oscilloscopes and digital collectors. It can comprehensively test the injection quantity, injection pressure, injection time and injection law of the engine fuel injection system.

⑵ In engine test research, there are 1 1 engine laboratory, 12 engine test bench and a number of instruments for testing fuel consumption, smoke, combustion and emission. There are PUMA automatic eddy current dynamometer from AVL company in Austria, Schenk engine dynamic test bed from Germany and Schenk water eddy current dynamometer imported earlier, as well as Austria AVL620 combustion analyzer, AVL439 extinction smoke meter and 4 15 filter paper smoke meter, AVL733 fuel consumption meter with oil temperature control, and Japanese HORIBA company 7 100D exhaust gas analyzer. AVLSPC472 particle tester, port test bench and valve train test bench can complete the performance and emission test of diesel engine, gasoline engine and natural gas engine. Among them, the full set of dynamometer stations are equipped with imported dynamometer equipment and emission measurement equipment, which can fully automatically complete the emission test under 13 working conditions, with fast test speed and high precision. Schenk dynamic test-bed can be used for engine road simulation test and transient emission test.

⑶ In the precision measurement of parts, we have a number of advanced precision measuring equipment, such as high-precision roundness meter, cylindricity meter, roughness meter, gap meter, seat cone angle meter and small hole meter imported from Britain, which can be used for high-precision measurement of precision parts.

⑷ In terms of processing and manufacturing, we have high-precision grinding grinder imported from Studer company in Switzerland, ultra-precision honing machine from Gehring company in Germany, central hole surface grinder from UVA company in Sweden, and CNC EDM nozzle processing equipment from Posalux company in Switzerland. We also have more than 50 sets of domestic processing equipment, such as machining center, CNC lathe and nozzle hydraulic grinding, which can undertake the trial production of various components and pilot products such as electronically controlled fuel injection devices and precision couplings.

5] The Institute also has the largest reliability laboratory for oil pumps and nozzles in China, which can conduct reliability tests for dozens of fuel injection pumps and more than 100 fuel injectors at the same time, and has a number of special environmental test equipment unique in China, which can meet the reliability tests of fuel injection pumps under special environmental conditions such as vibration and high temperature.

Attach importance to the application of modern computing technology in the development and research of engines and fuel injection systems. In recent years, a number of advanced calculation softwares have been imported from abroad, including Star-CD computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis software imported from Britain, Ansystem finite element analysis (FEA) software imported from the United States, GT-Power engine working process simulation calculation software, HYDSIMXA engine fuel injection system simulation analysis software imported from Austria and ECU development tool software and hardware. These modern analysis softwares provide powerful tools for engine development and improvement research, which can greatly shorten the engine development cycle, improve the independent development ability and shorten the gap with foreign countries. At present, the technicians of Wuxi Oil Pump and Nozzle Research Institute widely use computers to complete various designs and tests.

(7) As the information center of China oil pump nozzle industry, the Institute has more than 0/000 copies of various scientific and technological books, subscribed to more than 30 foreign periodicals and 0/000 Chinese periodicals. The Institute has its own website on the Internet and has extensive information exchange with foreign countries.

These established means of experiment, trial production, calculation and information have greatly strengthened the comprehensive research and development ability of our institute.
