Investigation background research has a long way to go. If the college entrance examination is a hurdle, then the postgraduate entrance examination is a difficult beam to cross. In this increasingly competitive society, the aura of college students "favored by heaven" has lost its dazzling brilliance in the past, so the pursuit of higher-level knowledge has become the new mainstream of learning. With the expansion of enrollment, many students forget to eat and sleep. On campus, the popularity of "no postgraduate entrance examination" is like China people asking "Have you eaten?" . After a carefree freshman and sophomore life, many students began to worry about their future in their junior year. After graduating from college, they began to make choices according to their interests and strength. The relaxation of the national postgraduate enrollment policy, the severe employment situation and the arrival of the financial crisis have puzzled many college students who are about to graduate. Whether they should find a job or continue their studies has become a problem they must face. It is understood that under the background of the large enrollment expansion of graduate students in colleges and universities in previous years, a series of policies issued by the government not only relaxed the conditions for college students to take the postgraduate entrance examination, but also relaxed the requirements for their ability to take the postgraduate entrance examination, and the relaxation of physical examination and the relevant regulations on independent enrollment undoubtedly stimulated the growth of enrollment expansion. For college students facing graduation, it has become a realistic dilemma whether to take the postgraduate entrance examination or get a job. Now most students who choose to take the postgraduate entrance examination are not just a scholar's mentality, but a comprehensive reflection of various personalities, values and attitudes towards life. With the development of today's society, the demand for talents is getting higher and higher. Accordingly, as a college student who is about to enter the senior year and is faced with choices, I conducted a practical investigation on the attitude of contemporary college students towards postgraduate entrance examination in the summer vacation.
The purpose of the survey is to deeply understand the situation of college students' postgraduate entrance examination and their attitude towards postgraduate entrance examination, to provide some information for more students who are interested in postgraduate entrance examination, to truly understand the motivation of recent graduates, to help college students establish a correct purpose and mentality of postgraduate entrance examination, to improve their learning consciousness and initiative, and to provide necessary conditions for their postgraduate entrance examination.

Survey results In this survey, most students indicated that they would not choose to take the postgraduate entrance examination, among which personal reasons were the biggest factor that prompted them not to take the postgraduate entrance examination, and many students also indicated that they still had to study after the postgraduate entrance examination.
