Only an old driver can understand its sadness. How many independent brands do you know?

Why did those once-popular car brands end up miserable? Only old drivers can understand the sadness of autonomy.

Lu Mei automobile

Last issue, when we talked about "Shanghai Huapu", we mentioned Lu Mei Auto. Who is this car brand? In fact, Lu Mei Automobile Company belongs to the state-owned Jiangbei Machinery Factory of the Central Military Industry Administration. During the period of 1988, he was engaged in automobile production and manufacturing under the wave of "making cars nationwide" and developed a Lu Mei brand mini family car based on Subaru REX. In the same year, he went to Beijing to attend the "Weapons Industry Technology and Civilian Products Fair", which was highly praised by then Vice Premier Li Peng and the central leadership.

Different from many car companies, this military enterprise had a "birth certificate" for cars at the beginning of the factory, but with the birth certificate, Jiangbei Machinery Factory did not have the skills of car research and development, which greatly restricted the development of the enterprise. During the two years from 1990 to 1992, its total output was only over 200 vehicles. At the end of the same year, according to the unified deployment of the Central Ordnance General Administration, Jilin Jiangbei Machinery Factory switched to Alto and became one of the four major military enterprises that produced Alto at that time. (namely Chongqing Changan Alto, Hunan Jiangnan Alto, Jilin Jiangbei Alto, Xi 'an Qinchuan Alto)

It was thought that Jiangbei Machinery Factory would eventually fade out of people's sight because of the lack of R&D capability, but it chose to cooperate with Shanghai Jester (the predecessor of Huapu Automobile). The first Jester JJ7 130 hatchback was successfully rolled off the assembly line on April 28, 2002, but the poor output of 457 cars and the market reaction at that time did not overwhelm Fukang. This new car was discontinued on August 5 of the same year.

Tian Tong automobile

Also in Jilin Jiangbei Automobile Machinery Factory, after breaking up with Jester in 2002, Jiangbei Machinery Factory carried out a series of reorganization with a capital of 65.438+300 million yuan, and established Jilin Tian Tong Automobile Co., Ltd. As a company with four production lines of stamping, welding, painting and final assembly, as well as a complete set of automobile monitoring lines imported from Schenk, Germany, it is also an old military enterprise. It seems that this reorganization will make the enterprise flourish.

As the first model of Tian Tong automobile, "Glow" has been designed with reference to the old four-eye POLO as a whole, but the body size with the length/width/height of 3450/1465/1410mm is much smaller than that of Polo, which is more or less a shadow of Alto. Of course, the low price of 42,800 seems to make this car need to open up the market, but this product idea does not seem to be loved by consumers. According to incomplete statistics, in June 2005, the cumulative production and sales volume of Tian Tong Gro1-1was less than 600 vehicles. Since then, Tian Tong automobile has almost stopped production, and was forced to stop production completely at the beginning of 2006, and eventually, like the fate of Lu Mei automobile, it gradually died out in the vast tide of automobile development.

Zhongshun automobile

Zhongshun Automobile, formerly known as Songliao Automobile Co., Ltd., was renamed several times and reorganized into Shenyang Zhongshun Automobile Co., Ltd. in 2003. Is an automobile manufacturing enterprise approved by China Municipal Government, focusing on the research and development and manufacturing of passenger cars and commercial vehicles such as light buses, MPVs and SUVs. But you know what? The predecessor of Songliao Automobile is shenyang military area command Logistics Department Auto Repair Factory,No.: 74 16 Factory. 1983 was renamed as the state-owned Songliao automobile factory. 1In March, 993, Songliao Automobile Co., Ltd. was finally established. It was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in May and became one of the few listed car companies in China.

After years of production, although the listed car company has accumulated huge capital, it has gained a lot in the automotive field. In 2002, Shanghai Zhongshun invested130,000 yuan to take over 89% equity of Songliao from Shanghai Guo Qin Investment Company, indirectly controlling ST Songliao. In the same year 65438+ 10, Shanghai Zhongshun established Shenyang Zhongshun Automobile Co., Ltd. in conjunction with Shanghai Hengju and Anhui Baosheng Group ... Then, after many failures in restructuring, Zhongshun Automobile abandoned the "car" and followed the "text", and the company planned to issue 609 million shares to Wenzi Holdings and other non-public offerings. This is also an attempt to transform the company in a new field after many setbacks, but there is no automobile industry since then.

Fu Qi automobile company

The popularity of SUV models at present is obvious. Looking back on the development of its own brand SUV, Fu Qi Automobile can be regarded as a "pioneer", which was earlier than the familiar Cheetah automobile. The predecessor of the brand is Nanchang Automobile Factory 1969, which was established in March. In the same year, it moved to Fuzhou, Jiangxi, and was renamed Bamianshan Automobile Factory in Jiangxi. 1June, 985, it was officially renamed as Jiangxi Fu Qi Automobile Factory.

In the mid-1990s, Fu Qi Automobile began to contract for Toyota LC80 and Nissan Y60. Around 1995, Fu Qi Automobile purchased the shell mold and technical drawings of Toyota LC80 from Taiwan Province Province to build a new generation SUV? "Fuqi 6480" is actually an old land cruiser that was eliminated by Toyota, but the SUV market was not so hot at that time, so that the sales of this car were very bleak.

On July 5, 2003, Fu Qi Automobile was acquired by ZTE, and Jiangxi Zhongxing Fu Qi Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was established. At the same time, based on the original Fuqi 6480, the ZTE Fuqi 6500 was built. Unfortunately, the new car still cannot be integrated into the market. After that, ZTE, which was deeply mired in bankruptcy, had to be thrown out again. In July, 2004, Zhejiang Hu Axiang Group, which is wholly owned by Fu Qi, established Fu Qi Automobile Co., Ltd., but it still played the old routine. After tinkering, ZTE Fuqi 6500 was renamed Hu Axiang Fuqi 6500 and listed again, but the sales volume of this model is still bleak. Later, after several changes of hands, 20 13 reached 6500.
