What documents should I submit during my application for studying in Italy?

There are international students and planned students studying in Italy, and the materials to be submitted include pre-registration materials and visa materials.

Let's take international students as an example to talk about the materials that need to be submitted: (For more detailed information and operation procedures, please consult our study abroad consultant)

First, the pre-registration materials:

1. Three two-inch ID photos on a white background;

2. Color copies of the first and second pages of the passport showing basic information and signature;

3. Provide the original notarial certificate and Italian translation of the transcripts and course descriptions certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China (please try to merge them into one notarial certificate);

4. Original Italian translation degree certificate notarized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China;

5. Two copies of the certification report of the Degree and Postgraduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education, both in English. One of the original reports must be sent directly to the Consular Office of the Italian Embassy by the Center for Degree and Postgraduate Education Development of the Ministry of Education, and the other original report must be submitted together with the degree certificate;

6. College entrance examination results certification report (showing the years of study from primary school to high school);

7. Students applying for art and music colleges must provide: an art test score certification report;

8. Students applying for postgraduate courses must provide a degree certification report with official English translation of CDGDC;

9. Students who register for English-taught courses must provide relevant certificates issued by Italian universities to prove that the course is an English-taught course;

10. Forms in the enrollment brochure: pre-registration application form, photo and signature authentication form, Uni-Italia form and value declaration application form.

Second, the visa materials:

1. national visa application form, original.

Note: The application form should be formally filled out in English, Italian or Chinese Pinyin, and signed by the applicant (the signature of China applicant should be written, not in Pinyin). For applicants under the age of 18, the application form must be signed by at least one parent or legal guardian.

2. A recent photo of myself

Note: The photos should be ICAO-sized color photos with a white background of 35x40, taken in the last six months.

3. Valid passport, original and photocopy in two copies.

Note: Please note that passports should be issued within the past 10 years and valid for at least 3 months after leaving Schengen District. Passport should have at least two blank pages. Two copies of the first and second pages of the applicant's passport.

5. Original pre-registration certificate of Italian university or AFAM school.

6. Proof of funds of the applicant and his parents.

Description: Provide the following certificates:

1) Bank statements of myself and my parents in the last 6 months and/or bank statements of international credit cards or savings cards (original provided). If you provide your parents' bank account, please also provide the original and copy of the household registration book; Or-if the applicant's household registration is not with his parents, he should submit a birth certificate or a certificate of kinship, translate it into Italian and be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

2) The original employment certificates of both parents (the company needs to stamp and sign, and provide monthly salary and income)

3) If the parents have retired, a retirement certificate is required.

4) Other sources of family income (such as business activities, renting houses, etc.) need to submit certificates and tax bills at the same time.

5) Students who have won scholarships from the Italian government or other institutions are required to provide scholarship certificates. Students need about 448.52 euros a month in a school year to ensure a normal life (about 5,830 euros a year).

Please note that cash, financial guarantee provided by others rather than family members, or bank guarantee cannot be used as proof of funds. When examining the proof of funds, we will not only consider the balance of a current account or a specific deposit, but also consider the financial situation of students and their families as a whole to ensure the basic expenses that students need every month in Italy.

7. Economic security for returning to China.

Note: This fund needs to be in addition to the minimum of 5,830 euros per year, or it can also be proved by providing a return ticket order.

8. Original valid proof of accommodation in Italy

Note: If the proof of funds is not enough to cover the whole accommodation expenses, please provide one of the following forms:

-Proof of school accommodation (copy can be provided)

-Invitation letter (click here to download English version, the only acceptable format) or a copy of the landlord's ID card attached to the lease contract; If the inviter is not an EU citizen, you need to provide a valid residence permit and a copy of your passport (signature page) (even the certificate issued by the real estate agent is still needed).

-The original hotel confirmation form and paid invoice for at least one month (the confirmation form includes: the person in charge of the hotel, contact information, check-in and check-out dates, the applicant's name and birthday, the position and name spelling of the issuing confirmer, and the time of issuance).

9. Insurance should cover medical treatment and hospitalization.

Note: Insurance shall comply with the following relevant laws and regulations, Article 39, Paragraph 3 of c.3 T.U. n. 286/ 1998 and the directive of the Ministry of the Interior dated March 2000 1 day.

10. Language proficiency certificate

Language proficiency can be proved in the following ways: the language certification provided by the University of Siena for foreigners, the language certification provided by the University of Perugia for foreigners, the Rome III, the non-public foreign university in Reggio Calabria or Dante's Association signed agreements with foreign Italian cultural offices or other institutions. If a student does not have the corresponding certificate to prove his/her language ability, an interview is needed to test his/her language ability. The embassy has the right to test the language ability of applicants, including those with language certification.

1 1. If the applicant is under 18 years old, a birth certificate must be provided.

Description: (original and photocopy) translated into Italian and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and the Italian Embassy; Parents' consent to go abroad (certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and the Italian Embassy), and indicate who will assume the guardianship obligation during his stay in Italy. The original guardian's written guardianship statement (in English or Italian) contains the guardian's address+passport copy (information page and signature page); If the guardian is not an EU citizen, please provide a copy of passport and residence permit. Please note that the validity of residence must last at least until the applicant 18 years old.

12. visa application/passport return authorization (if the applicant cannot submit the application in person)

Note: For the applicant who chooses an agent to submit the application, the power of attorney signed by the applicant must be provided when submitting, and the power of attorney should include the name and contact information of the agent; It is also required to submit a copy of the agent's ID card plus proof of employment, and present the original ID card when submitting. The power of attorney does not apply to parents who submit applications for minor children.
