CB system is a global mutual recognition system established by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IECEE). Forty-five certification bodies from 34 countries participated in this mutual recognition system. After an enterprise obtains a CB certificate from a certification body, it can be easily converted into a certification certificate from other institutions, so as to obtain the market access certificate of relevant countries.
CCC certification is a compulsory certification requirement in China. Simply put, one is domestic (CCC) and the other is international interoperability (CB).
In China, when applying for CCC and CB certification at the same time, the certification body may give some preferential treatment. For example, CQC stipulates that when an enterprise applies for 3C certification or CQC mark certification, if it applies for CB certification at the same time, it will get the integrated value-added service of CCC+CB or CQC+CB provided by CQC, which can greatly reduce the cost and speed up the certification.
3C certification process includes eight stages: application acceptance, data review, sample receiving, sample testing, factory review, conformity assessment, certificate approval, certificate printing, collection, sending and management.
